Matt and Amanda were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The fresh milk and cookies in the room were a nice touch. The room and en-suite are decorated to a high standard and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Ilfracombe to stay at the Devonshire Villa.

Toiletries were a bit basic, maybe suggest nicer quality.

Amanda and Matt were attentive and lovely. I found my room spacious and comfortable with some nice touches such as homemade welcome cookies, fresh milk and mini fridge. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Bed and bedding was very good and slept like a baby. Tasteful decoration throughout.

I honestly cannot find a single downside to our stay, apart from it not being longer, so we can enjoy it to the fullest. 10/10 experience!

The ease of access, the parking area, the overall presentation of the property and facilities (extremely well kept and maintained) and many other attributes. The breakfast was second to none, and we can strongly recommend this location to any visitors, as the reviews and the experience speak for themselves.

We really loved this family run business, they went above and beyond prior to our arrival helping me arrange a special arrival for my sister in law, putting flowers balloons and banners in the room. The Devonshire is only a 10 minute walk from the town , ideal for sightseeing and enjoying the various bars and restaurants in town.

The Devonshire is a perfect place to stay, friendly hosts in a B&B that is perfect in every way, hospitality, cleanliness and breakfast, everything was exceptional.

Amanda & Matt gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel at home straight away. Home made cookies in the room on arrival. There was so much we liked about the Devonshire Villa, the decor was very much to our taste, the standard king room was beautiful and fitted out very tastefully. The bed was comfortable, pillows and duvet so nice we asked Matt where they got them from and we purchased the same on the way home. Bathroom was quality, fab shower with lovely shampoo & shower gel supplied. Now the breakfast, we tried 3 different breakfasts during our stay and we can only say it was as good as any breakfast we’ve had at The Ivy.

There was nothing not to like about our experience.

Lovely clean room with extra little touches which included the lovely cookies and fresh milk in our mini fridge. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and passionate about their business. Breakfast: There were lots of cereal choices, fresh fruit and granola pots included in the cold choice. You could also order hot croissants on a pre ordered menu. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast which was really tasty and very well presented. There was a variety of other hot food choices.

Everything!!!! The hosts were incredible and went above and beyond to facilitate an amazing trip for us. Everything was brand new and impeccably clean. The cookies on arrival were a real treat as well, such a great personal touch. We got our own set of keys to come and go as we pleased and had no curfew which was even better!
