We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomBlinds in bedroom didn’t keep out lights of high street outside. Breakfast was a little skimpy good coffee but more fresh fruit would be good. Bread was not sour dough as on info.
Good location for the venue for a concert we were attending. Lovely room and comfy bed. Quite noisy until midnight as pub very busy downstairs, but quiet afterwards. Food very good value in evening. Nice clean bathroom. Overall really liked this pub.

United KingdomOnly minor things - toilet cistern kept running and extractor fan wasn’t working, but all very small issues that can be fixed really quickly :) Overall, we were very happy.
Lovely pub with outdoor space. Food was good and the continental breakfast options in the morning were great. Well located in the town centre. Parking provided free of charge. Room was lovely and clean, with a TV, and a comfortable bed. We had an issue with the parking (received a ticket), but this was sorted quickly and efficiently by the staff.

United KingdomOn the rare occasion I return to the Dolphin late on a Wednesday night the car park is full due to the ever popular Quiz night. I sometimes have to find parking elsewhere temporarily until the quiz night finishes but hey, this is a minor issue that I can deal with.
Everything was great. Bed and room are comfortable and good shower facilities. The Dolphin has a good menu and the staff always great you with a smile.

The location so close to the station and town centre was good. The room was old but not tired. Very clean. Great bath with instant hot water, which was great after a long day walking. The staff downstairs were very chilled out and accommodating. The hotel didn't have staff in the morning, so breakfast was self-serve. Which was fine - but I didn't know who to ring / how to get information in the mornings so if you have queries make sure to ask the bar staff the night before who are very friendly. They had a very popular quiz night on Weds so if you're staying then make sure you make alternative dinner arrangements or book a table early.
