    Nothing.

Excellent location in central Aviemore but really quiet. Great views from the living room and top floor bedroom. Cosy but modern and well equipped. Particularly appreciated the hot tub and the log burner after some rainy walks! Lots to do in the surrounding area. Some lovely walks/bike rides straight from the door, watersports on Loch Morlich and the kids had great fun at the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Would definitely return!

Fiona was friendly and helpful. Warm, comfortable and well equipped, spacious accommodation. Beds were exceptionally nice 😁. Fiona communicated at all times and we appreciate her support in helping us at short notice. Thanks for a wonderful Christmas break.

I'm going to nit pick now but for the cost it would have been nice had there been a few basic toiletries on arrival, and a small bottle of milk for a cuppa, much like in a hotel for instance. Other than that, there's nothing to criticise. Well done to Fiona.

The accommodation is beautifully presented. It's clean, extremely well equiped and conveniently situated in quiet surrounding for both local amenities and exploration of the imposing Cairngorms countryside both by car and on foot. The owner (Fiona) has thought of almost everything from decent pots and pans, for those with a mind to self cater, to the lovely spa cabin housing a hot spa tub so appreciated after climbing the challenging Craigellachie (well, challenging at my age). The showers were fantastic! This accommodation is not cheap but, for us, it's not so much the cost as what one gets for the money and we came away thinking it was worth every penny. Finally, if there's one thing Aviemore is not short of its places to eat or takeaways from fish and chips to an ice cream parlour. You certainly wont go hungry.

Top floor toilet and sink noisy due to being a macerator system. Not a big problem though.

What a beautiful property, we were blown away by how comfortable it was, how thoughtful all the wee details were and how close to the centre of Aviemore it is.

Everything was really nice, if I have to suggest any improvements, I would say that most pots are not compatible with the induction hot plates.

Lovely house at the heart of Aviemore. There were five of us and there was sufficient dining space, three bathrooms and enough cutlery and dishes.

Only a small issue but the breakfast bar stools aren’t the comfiest and we don’t like eating in the living room so ate our meals there with sore bums!

We loved the decor, how cosy it was and how spacious it was plus the bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch

The front door key card system as the batteries ran out and we couldn't enter the property (although this was quickly rectified). Outdoor rear area could maybe do with being made more inviting, such as some fairy lights and a few plants to break up the fence area.

The super comfy beds! The location (only 5 mins walk to bars and less than 10 to shops). Plenty of things to do with the family, we hardly had to drive anywhere to go hiking, water sports etc. Also having the railway is great too. Some great bars close by. Plenty of shops to get your groceries. Small Indian takeaway less than 2 minutes walk from Dookit. The staff who looked after the property were very nice and helpful 😀 👍

A couple of sockets didn't seem to work- one in twin bed room and one in kitchen (one for Nespresso machine). No outside bins in garden to empty house bins into.

Beautiful - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. Large rooms 3 full bathrooms was an added bonus and the top floor room with en-suite is fabulous. Amazing views to Cairngorm especially from top floor. Close to the village centre in residential street - had no problems parking outside. Nice wee area out the back for outdoor eating and barbecue - with charcoal and lighters provided under the sink. Plenty of towels and extra pillows Nespresso machine & pods .... which was a nice extra facility. All in all a fantastic place and we were delighted from arrival to departure.

Lack of a deeper cooking pot. Lack of BBQ facility - even couple of raised rocks to place disposable bbq onto. Top bedroom lacks blinds and whilst not overlooked it let's too much light in first thing in the morning. Apparent tension on the street because of guests using limited parking spaces - not an issue where a single car is parked outside the property. Back garden definately still work in progress but for now not for use by younger kids.

Location. Views (except of the back garden). Indoor space. Bathrooms. Huge beds. Decent heating system. Next door neighbours. Check in instructions. A bit more investment and this is a four star establishment.
