There wasnt anything not to dislike the place is beautiful and beautifully kept.

Everything, Heather went out of her way to make it perfect. Definitely will be revisiting. Location is perfect. Vewis are beautiful & Spotless. Perfect for a getaway with your other half. The garden is perfectly kept, Cosy and warm. Hottub is clean and well kept. Beautiful place for star gazing definitely a chilled place away from reality.

I did knock off a star because it didn’t have access to wifi. This would be perfect if you want to switch off and just be in each other’s company. However, my partner and I had a couple emergency work errands to do so that’s why it was inconvenient.

This was such a beautiful and cosy hut equipped with all the facilities we needed to make our stay very comfortable. The shower had a good pressure and temperature, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the hot tub was a relaxing experience. In summary, I would recommend this place!

The hut was so comfy, cosy and clean! It was the perfect little romantic getaway. We absolutely loved the hot tub and all the lovely intricate details around the place like the Christmas decorations, pond and it was also the perfect spot for sunset. Heather was a great and very helpful host. Would definitely come again!

Very relaxing spot but road can be a little noisy at peak times, however we live down a quiet country road normally so most roads are busier!

Beautiful shepards hut, very well equipped. Heather went the extra mile to help us celebrate our honeymoon. Perfect spot for relaxing and the hot tub is lovely. Great views across the fields at the back and doesn't feel overlooked at all. Ducks are just the cutest and really made our stay special. The hut is fab and even though its naturally a small space everything is so well thought out. We loved it!

The weather!

The location, although close to the road, was private and secluded and our only interruptions were from the family of ducks that live in the pond occasionally so asking for food food. The hut itself is fitted to a very high standard with all we needed for a comfortable stay, and with Greatly Bentley (and more importantly a few pubs) only a short distance away by car, it was a pleasant stay despite the great British weather.

Only thing that slightly let us down was the over grown grass over the fence blocking the view over the field but this wasn't really an issue for us as we was exploring for most of our stay anyway!

Loved it all! Peaceful and quiet, host was super friendly and happy to do everything to make our stay the best she could! The hut was lovely and cosy, and the hot tub was amazing too!

Absolutely nothing it was all amazing

Host was absolutely amazing, always there if needed her. Explained everything in detail I.e hot tub etc. The hut itself was the cutest and soo comfy! We literally spent all day just relaxing in the hot tub and in bed watching movies.. absolute bliss from our busy lifestyles and no better way to celebrate our baby moon and anniversary! Defo recommend and defo be coming again 100%!

The hut was beautiful, clean, tidy, cosy and romantic. Very well thought out accommodation in front of a field which made for beautiful sunsets within large private gated land including a bridged lake and ducks which we could feed with seed provided by our wonderful and welcoming host Heather. The garden was stunning in the evenings from the hot tub with all of the twinkling lights. A perfect quiet getaway from the bustle and traffic of town life.

Heather was an amazing host. I was celebrating my Birthday and wanted somewhere that would be a retreat, this was that and more. The stillness and experiencing nature at her best was out of this world. My husband and I had the best time ever, the hut was cosy, clean and exceptional, the gardens, swing seat and hammock all added to a most memorable stay. The garden's seated area looks out to endless fields and the hot tub was to die for. The location of the hut allows for you to be screened yet able to take in all of nature, so nice to be in at night looking up at the stars with fairy lights scattered in all the right places. The layout and grounds have a welcoming and relaxed feel away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The pond and the ducks simply just add to a perfect stay. Heather provided lovely touches to celebrating my Birthday. She has created a little piece of heaven on earth in Colchester. We will definitely be back.
