Thought we’d booked a table for the restaurant on the Sunday evening, but a slight mix up with the online booking so had to find somewhere else to eat.

Great setup if you’re travelling with dogs.

We were a group of ladies celebrating a 70th birthday. We were made to feel extremely welcome on our arrival and when one of our party phoned to say she had had a road accident the staff were extremely helpfull. We enjoyed a a superb meal in the restaurant, where again the team were excellent. The rooms are decorated beautifully and very clean. The complimentary tea/ coffee/ water is a nice touch as many hotels don't offer this now. We all agreed we would like to return.

Difficult , but my wife would have liked a full length mirror in our room, some do have this. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was in a poor location, resulting in a very wet floor/door. Nit picking now. Liked everything.

Overall appearance was excellent , allocated parking close to rooms for guests was a good start. Warm welcome from all staff. The room was immaculate and recently furnished. Restaurant and Bar had a pleasant vibe. Service, menu and food were excellent with generous protons that did not break the bank.

The location was perfect and plenty of parking spaces. Staff were most welcoming and accommodating for our special meeting with long lost friends. We checked if dogs were allowed in and this presented no problem at all. Breakfast is always a concern and there was no need to worry it was cooked to perfection. Well done and many thanks

The emergency exit instructions on the back of the door in the room were in a very small font so it was extremely difficult to read. The fire alarm did go off so it made us even more aware of the problem.

The location was idyllic, the inn provided great service and staff were pleasant. The room, including the bathroom, was clean and spacious.

The only thing, which may seem trivia, is that the telephone in the room had a bright green light, which I had to cover up in order to go to sleep.

Breakfast was gorgeous - a full English to set us up for the day! It was all included in the price the room and we enjoyed hot coffee, toast and all the trimmings.

Everything! Well presented propert. Excellent staff. The room was lovely and even had small outside space to sit. They fitted us in for dinner with the 3 extra family members who had joined us. We couldn't believe our luck infinding this beautiful place. We will be using it as a base when we come again

The only negative, if I could find one we only had towels for 1 guest instead of 2 guests for our double room, so has to request. The towels can almost immediately.

Exceptional service from Amber, she was extremely helpful. Rooms very well refurbished to a high standard and comfortable. Food and service excellent. Cannot really fault it, definitely exceeded our expectations.

We attempted to walk the river path to get to Romsey - it became impassable due to flooding - it would be helpful to put a note on the gate

We were very pleased with our accommodation,as we had a lady with walking disability and she had no problem with the accommodation,and was very pleased,and the food was excellent ,we wold stay there again if we were in the area again,we would like to say a big thankyou to all the staff for how welcoming they all were that’s again for a lovey stay .

Can be difficult to book a table for dinner but we were successful

Stylish, comfortable room with clean efficient bathroom facilities and nice scented soap. The chalk stream trout at breakfast was exceptional !
