Nothing much to complain about. We stayed for 2 night and 1 of the breakfasts was only ok - the next days was much better.

Good sized bathroom facilities (bath and shower). Excellent river view. Comfy bed. Friendly/helpful staff.

Double room was small and slightly cramped with bathroom door.

Location was very good in the town, easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked..free parking was perfect. Whole set up was good. Bed was extremely comfy and linen was crisp and fresh. Lift to rooms was a bonus. Great bathroom and walk in shower.

TV didn't have normal choice of terrestrial channels. Would have liked the addition of some fruit available with breakfast.

We received a warm welcome by Michael. He was friendly, efficient and helpful both at check-in and at breakfast. Hotel location was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. Lovely to walk by the river and around Newtown.

Nighttime entrance is bizarre. Bar closes at 10. Reception closes at 8.30. Breakfast serving/ routine is a bit chaotic

Excellent location. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Bed was comfy, room was lovely!!!! Very impressed with the room, lovely river view, HUGE bed, decent sized TV. Bath & shower. What a lovely little stay.

Problems with the Fire Alarms being set off by burnt toast in toaster first thing in the morning.

Room overlooks the cinema which is a nightclub on Saturday nights and very noisy in the early hours when the revellers get kicked out. Rooms were a little tired and room 102 had a problem with its floor which was soft and sagging.

Lovely big room, nice breakfast, lovely situated on the river side and easy walk to the rest of the town.

Unfortunately, our dining experience was impacted by the unavailability of the chef for dinner.

The breakfast options weren't explained when we arrived, it just seemed that you could only have a full English, although there was a vegetarian option of this for our daughter. At breakfast the next day, other visitors were offered different choices

On the evening of my arrival the restaurant was catering for a large party and I was unable to have a meal. Residents should have priority and the hotel should not overstretch its resources to the extent that residents are excluded.

My room did not have a chair, but the staff were able to provide one immediately.

There does need to be attention with the replenishing of the complimentary teabags, milk, coffee sugar etc we have stayed about three times before but attention to these little details would bring up the ratings on FB and booking.com

Woken up by at 3.30am by people, loudly leaving the night club opposite. Breakfast could have been better, but was OK.

Room was super clean, spacious. Comfy bed. View beautiful, loved hearing the sound of the river.
