How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There isn't anything I didnt like about this place, the description was accurate with no unpleasant surprises. My positive experience was heightened by the contrasting previous night stay and very poor hosting experience at another short stay accommodation where I checked out after one of 2 nights booked stay.
It was like a breath of fresh air, the warm welcome, perfect room compact with everything a traveller requires and the friendly helpful staff made it a very memorable stay. Loved the home cooked breakfast using locally sourced product.

The sink being in the bedroom and not bathroom

There was nothing I didn't like a lovely stay at the weekend.I will be back next time I am at Bridgnorth.

The restaurant is now an Indian - very disappointing as there are very few food options in Bridgnorth Beware the top 2 rooms - up a v steep and narrow staircase. No problem if you’re agile
Nice hotel in the centre of the lower town. Free parking (essential as you need a car)

Bathroom was tired and needed updating. Towel rail didn’t work so was flipping freezing in there. Shower was a mixer off the bath taps and went from freezing cold to scalding hot, had to wash hair over edge of bath so didn’t scald myself.
Lovely hotel in great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast fab.

Television channels were unwatchable as they pixelated and the sound crackled. The blind in the room let in too much light from the safety fitting on the roof just outside the window but this was fixed for the second night after having reported it to a member of staff. The heating went off during the second night and the room was cold.

Breakfast - it was cooked too much or not cooked enough. Tea was disgusting, but there was no other option. Shower was adequate, but the shower head was full of limescale.
Friendly staff, pub looked good, room was acceptable. Adequate tea coffee etc in the room ans we were offered more if we needed it.

I thought the room was very basic and the bathroom was tiny with some mould in places.Priced a little too high at £135 in my opinion

There was nothing to dislike.
A very nice establishment! I had a studio apartment all to myself. It was very spacious and warm it was room enough for two. My two sisters shared a twin room and they were very pleased with it. We enjoyed our dinner in The Indian restaurant onsite. Plenty of choice with friendly and welcoming staff. The food was excellent! The best place to stay in Bridgnorth.

The only issue which spoilt our stay was the bathroom being freezing cold with no heating. Would normally enjoy a morning shower but couldn’t when the it’s like an ice box.
Location, as we were going to the theatre and evening meal with fantastic. Wonderful food with great professional service. A really joy.

Bathroom not good. Mould on tiles, shower head blocked so water sprayed out sidewards. No hot or cold i.d on taps, due to blocked shower head not possible to properly regulate temp. Wife got scalded trying to turn it off. Brush painted tired old bath. Small room. Otherwise fine
