Breakfast sausage wasn’t cooked through and had to be returned. I was the only person having breakfast so kitchen wasn’t under pressure

Fabulous location and finished to an extremely high standard throughout. Staff very helpful but had not unlocked the hotel door - I was placed in an adjacent cottage - and had to knock on breakfast area windows to get in.

The entire hotel is just stunning. It’s the perfect location to get away from a busy life and just take a moment to relax and appreciate the quiet around you, and the food was incredible - a solid 10/10.

It was our honeymoon, the staff were made aware but not so much as a complimentary glass of wine. When you're paying through the nose for a special 1 night stay It was a little disappointing 😞

We think that possibly the up market Eyas Restaurant ought to provide an alternative to the 6 course & rather expensive 'Taster Menu'. Possibly a 3 or 4 course dinner option thus giving diners a greater choice.

The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice & nicely presented. For us the hotel location was just right, not far from home, in a tiny village, part of a private estate & surrounded by countryside, but not that far from a big town if required.

Unfortunately on our two nights the main restaurant was closed so we ate in the bar and could not sample their main menu. The bar food was very good but the choices limited.

The hotel is contemporary and well designed and spotless. The breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The cooked breakfast wasn't spot on as certain foods didn't hav the flavour I expected, although my new husband polished off what I didn't eat. We weren't too keen on the toilet as we felt exposed to the room, and not much privacy in that area. Having to wait a lengthy time at reception, as there was only 1 member of staff and she was having to answer telephone calls too as well as face to face customers. There was no little shop for gifts or necessities for our stay.

The room, the bed, the balcony, the view, an option of bath and shower, Breakfast in bed was an exceptional experience Loved the power shower with varying options to change the jet. Being able to sit outside on the balcony with a drink and still have that intimate time with my new husband was priceless. This was so idyllic.

At first I was put in a room without air conditioning in a distant annex but after I complained management changed me to a room in the main building with air conditioning.

My only gripe was the bed - I think it was a twin connected to form a double. Sometimes mattress toppers are laid over the join so you can’t feel them. This wasn’t the case in this room unfortunately, so I spent both nights sleeping on the edge of the bed. If this wasn’t the case, something uncomfortable made it very difficult to sleep in the middle.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times now. I was attending a wedding in Birmingham, but chose to stay at The Falcon and commute as I love how clean the rooms and bathrooms are, in addition to how lovely the staff are.

The staff were all lovely, the hotel is really comfortable and furnished beautifully. Their lake is fantastic for an open water swim and so pretty. We couldn’t fault it.
