There was a constant banging noise all night it’s an old building and it was a windy night. When I mentioned it when asked about my stay the next day I said I thought it might have been the window which may have been looked at before the next person stayed and the staff member was dismissive and offered no apology.

Great location to visit Northumberland Zoo the castle and gardens. Room was great breakfast was great ate in the bar and the food was great

No Hotel car park and hit or a miss on getting parked round the corner in public car as limited spaces.

The Hotel was in the best location centre of town by the Castle. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was plentiful ,well made and well served .The room was comfortable and serviced daily .The pub itself had a reasonable selection of evening food -large portions and inexpensive .It was in the centre of a small county town .It was very close to Alnwick garden and Alnwick castle

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. I understand that they wish you to pre-order but I didn’t expect this to mean it was pre-cooked (apart from the eggs) . It was lukewarm as it has obviously been waiting on us coming to eat within an hour window and toast was cold. Maybe just an off day?

Loved the character of the property and the decor in the room. The bar meals at lunch were great. Staff super helpful.

The rooms are gorgeous, very nicely done out. As a family staying we had 3 rooms and each one as nice as the other. Breakfast was delicious and made to order so everything was lovely and hot. Staff very friendly. The pub side of it also nicely done and has a great atmosphere.

Wanted to use the beautiful roll top bath but the water was very unpredictable and not warm enough. Strange because the water from the sink tap and shower was absolutely spot on. Also the record player in the room didn't work. Would have liked an earlier breakfast start time, say from 8am instead of 9am. Despite this, I would return in a heartbeat.

The location was perfect for visiting Alnwick. The room was lovely and clean and spacious. Loved the free toiletries but a body moisturiser would have been champion. The food was really good, generous portions and not too pricey. The full brekkie was one of the best I've had. Perfect bacon, sausage & black.pudding from a local butchers. Slept really well, bed was so comfy and the pillows were perfect.

Located in the centre of Alnwick. Easy to find. Accommodation was amazing. Comfortable and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Food and service in the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was perfect, dietary requirements catered for without fuss. Brilliant place, brilliant staff!

Room absolutely spotless, very spacious and beautifully decorated. All amenities available and the shower was massive! Staff lovely from check in to check out. Breakfast great portion size and very delicious

The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2pm, though the staff took our cases up and we had lunch. Breakfast was very basic, though with some good local ingredients in the cooked part. Dreadful coffee!

Room was very comfortable and clean, complimentary Elemis toiletries in bathroom, staff very friendly, we had booked a table for evening meal which was lovely and breakfast was included, highly recommended!
