We only booked for one night so the small room/shower wasn't a big problem. Room was clean but mattress was worn out and not very comfortable.

Sunday Lunch was good, proper home cooked food and the breakfast was also good and set us up for the Day. Staff were very busy but always polite and helpful.

No lounge with comfortable chairs to relax in. Would have liked more variety at breakfast. Only one type & flavour of yoghurt, no fresh fruit, rolls or croissants, eg. Very small, dated en-suite. Needs replacing.

Friendly staff. Efficient welcome. Lovely village location and garden. Good quality fresh towels every day. Excellent servicing of room. Good parking.

    Better shower small and old.

Location chosen for proximity to Sandringham Gardens where l was gifting my time for 3days. Breakfast’s wonderful fantastic service and packed lunches brilliant! Bar staff might have been happier. Beer Adnams was excellent. For me only one question worth asking “ would you stay there again “ YES publican and his wife fantastic.

Water glass in room was dirty but this wasn’t a big issue. Because my room was over the bar area you could hear the noise from the bar and music system but again not a huge issue as this stopped when the bar closed.

Lovely little one-nighter. Perfect location for what unneeded and hidden away from the hustle and bustle near Sandringham. Was fortunate to be able to enjoy an evening meal which was lovely and breakfast was amazing.

Needs a good lick of paint indoors, it’s looking rather un-loved and dated. The so-called en-suite was very claustrophobic, the ceiling in the shower was mouldy and there was dust on the bedroom units. This didn’t really spoil our stay, we were only here for the one night but we did think it ought to have been a bit cleaner for the cost of the room.

Location for Sandringham Estate and Snettisham and Heacham. The food was good too. The staff were helpful and polite.

wasn't keen on the shower being 'in the room' although discreet, i would have preferred a seperate private area

breakfast selection was very good and cooked to order so nice and fresh. we had a meal one evening with family, even though they were extremely busy with pre-bookings they were able to accomodate us, and our party of six were all impressed with their meal

My two children had the bunkbeds and the mattresses were awful, so uncomfortable, the springs were poking through. They ended up sleeping on the sofas. All the pillows were really hard which made sleeping really difficult. Early check out at 10am. Wasn’t particularly clean, found a few hairs in the bath and crumbs in kitchen and down the sides of the sofa.

We had our own apartment which was excellent because it was away from the pub. Very spacious with a small front room and dining area, separate from the bedrooms. The apartment had all the things you would need there, towels, cutlery, kettle, microwave etc. Even an iron and hairdryer! The owner was extremely kind and welcoming and the food was excellent in the pub. We had a nice Saturday evening there and they were very child friendly.

The shower worked but the flow of water from it was disappointingly small. It was a small en-suite and there was always hot water There was a radiator in the room but I don’t think it was working

There was easy access to the hotel with good parking. A friendly and informative greeting and good meals and a comfortable bed and chair in my room.

No one was around at checkout time and my cab was due. Also, no breakfast until 8. Small stuff, really.

Such an old fashioned village pub experience in a village rated 10 for charming.
