Had a fabulous stay. Lovely rooms with lovely extras (fresh coffee, lush bathroom goods). Food very good. Dog friendly. Great hosting. Definitely staying again.

Our only dislike was the fact that our room only had Velux windows and no window we could look out onto the outside areas. However to be fair to The Filly Inn I read about this in their details after we had booked. It didn’t really stop us enjoying our visit.

It was a very good location for our trip to explore the New Forest. Lots of parking spaces in the car park. We ate in the restaurant on both nights of our stay. The food was excellent . Loved the breakfasts. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nothing at all to dislike.

The whole set up was lovely. The dining room and food were great and the room had everything you could possibly need. The fresh milk in a little fridge was so much better than those little plastic portions you get in most places. And the homemade biscuits were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, too.

Our room was very hot, even with the fan provided. Windows didn't open more than a couple of inches. Bearing in mind we stayed in March when relatively cold, I'm not sure I would like to stay (particularly in that room) in the summer months.

Amazing stay - rooms beautifully decorated and toiletries provided were exceptional. Restaurant food very nice, and good choice at breakfast.

The only thing that needs looking into is the mattresses. We stayed in room 1 and there was a real lack of mattress support. So unfortunately 2 not so peaceful nights sleep. Also rooms are very hot.

Absolutely loved staying at The Filly Inn. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! The rooms were cosy and clean, and the fresh complimentary cookies wrapped up in a gift bag when we arrived was such a treat! We ate at the restaurant in the evening and then played some board games with cocktails in the pub after. Food and service was 10/10. We went on a 2 hour walk the afternoon we arrived and a slightly shorter 1 hour amble the morning we left, really easy routes to follow around the venue, so highly recommend for city people looking to get out for a while and not have to worry about needing guides for long walks or to be checking your phone; staying here is the perfect excuse and way for a digital detox. Such a beautiful area, and the breakfast was so generous and delicious. We will definitely be back!

Food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, located in a beautiful spot with plenty of walks available. It was exactly what we wanted after a busy wedding weekend, Brockenhurst is a short drive away but we did a lovely walk in the nature reserve next to the hotel to get there. Very peaceful and chilled, would highly recommend.

I don’t think you can improve on something that is already at a very good standard. We were even offered wellies if we wanted to go for a walk fantastic 😊

Being charged extra for vegetables which were only a spoonful of leeks and a spoonful of cabbage. We did mention that but nothing was done.

Whilst the bedroom was cosy it felt just a bit cramped with loads of stuff in the wardrobe. It was great to have a fridge and fresh milk. However one of the blinds didn’t work so the light woke us up early. The room got really hot as the radiator came on at night. The ceiling lights were a bit odd as if they were an after thought. However that is being really lucky. We still really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Filly Inn.

Perfect location for us to attend a workshop at the vineyard a few yards down the road. Really pretty, huge car park. Interesting layout. Very welcoming and all the staff were really lovely and helpful. Great food. Delicious wine. Cosy way to spend an after out of the rain.

We loved how dog friendly the place was, the room was lovely, great eco-products in the bathroom and loved the cafetière coffee in the room! The bed was so big and really comfy. Breakfast was really good, with loads of choice and the food was so good that we didn’t eat anywhere else! They even brought sausages out for the dogs at breakfast.
