The rate for the room with breakfast was a little more expensive than we usually pay, but I know everything is more expensive at the moment in general. Everything was so lovely that any improvements are really minor. For example, we would have liked complimentary biscuits in the room, along with the tea and coffee if possible. Also, 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water were provided, one still and one sparkling. We would have preferred 2 still bottles if possible. However, these are trivial things which we could easily have resolved ourselves if necessary and didn't affect our stay.

The location was perfect. Right by the river Avon. So quiet. Our room had a lovely view across the river. Breakfast was just right too. Included in our booking. Full cooked breakfast with toast or a croissant. The staff were great. The room was lovely. Well equipped, clean, and so comfortable. The evening meal was lovely too. We really enjoyed our one night stay.

The chef didn’t turn up to cook breakfast ! We were compensated but a bit annoying when we wanted to set off early to Cornwall but had ti wait till 9am for our breakfast which we never received !

Our beautiful room was to hot with the weather and no fans were in the room. We were given a fan out of the kitchen but it wasn’t very useful.

The position on the river and the indoor and outside sitting areas were perfect.

I stayed for work and booked based on location near to my travel route, but when I arrived, I was really impressed with the fantastic waterside location and surrounding scenery, which I hadn't been expecting. Bar and restaurant area was comfortable, plenty of inside and outside seating. Room had lots of nice touches including fridge with bottle of milk for tea and cafetiere coffee, nice toiletries minimising single use plastic, cotton buds etc Staff were excellent, welcoming and friendly. In particular, they had received some storm damage a day or so before my visit and that meant they had no gas for cooking, so breakfast menu was limited, and Anthony had called me before my arrival to let me know in advance in case I wanted to change. I was glad I didn't change and stayed as planned as accommodation and surroundings were lovely, and I had a lovely breakfast of bacon and eggs with excellent coffee which was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely return for a weekend break

Absolutely wonderful. Great location, right on the river, the staff are friendly and helpful, food was really tasty and enjoyable. Nice size rooms, clean and comfy with lovely views out over the river. Wouldn't hesitate in going back or recommending to anyone 11/10

Drinks and food bit pricey, also it had been busy, so some items not available. When it is busy hopefully would have more staff available, it was pretty " relaxed" response time at bar😄

This is an amazing property, location and service. we stayed one night on our journey south and it was perfect. The staff here are amazing, the food exceptional and our 2 dogs were treated like royalty. The Fleet Inn is in an amazing location and has everything you would want from a small riverside restaurant/ pub/ hotel.

We loved the room. It was quiet, clean and bright and had everything we needed. We were traveling with our toddler and they made up a toddler bed for us - which was perfect!! The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great.

Toilet seat in room too small and broken hinge. Hot water tap loose and some mould on tiles in shower cubicle.
