The shower pressure wasn't always consistent.

The barn is spacious. We loved having the hot tub and barbecue. It's well situated for the Quex Park facilities. Our son loved the ladder to his bed! Everything was clean and well presented. Close to the beach.

The kitchen could be slightly better equipped with utensils (apologies, I'm writing the review a few months after and can't recall exactly what we missed!) We went end of Feb and although the place itself was heated and we were never too cold, the floors themselves were freezing, so would recommend that they put a few rugs down, or if not, bring warm slippers/socks if you're going in the winter months!

We booked it for my friend's hen - great area for lounging, clean and we liked that the Park shop was so close and the Park itself on our doorstep - mini golf about 5 mins away which we would highly recommend! In general, everyone was really helpful, whether it was facilitating our Sainsbury's delivery, travel details or the site staff, who helped with taxi details and a ladder when requested! There's also a wonderful bird display/sanctuary 1 min from the barn which we all loved. The hot tub was also clean and hot, ready for when we arrived (which I will never take for granted again as this has not always been the case at other places). Side note re. taxis - if you have to catch the train at a certain time, don't be afraid to call and chase as the taxi service in the area is not great.

Just some minor things like the softness of the beds and the bbq provided had seen better days.

A unique, spacious property with some great features - including the hot tub, great communal area and extra facilities on site where the barn is located.

Amazing hosts, nothing too much trouble, very friendly and flexible. Fantastic property, excellent facilities, spacious, comfortable and clean. The kids loved the ladder loft room. So great that it's situated by a super stocked farm shop with fresh produce, all you would need. Plus a lovely cafe and amazing pizza! So many activities and facilities on the park estate overall too. We would definitely return, in fact the kids are already planning it!

Only things we didn't enjoy was the beds were too soft and a couple of my party woke up with achy bodies in the morning and painful shoulders :( we enjoy firmer beds and felt the beds were way too soft which meant uncomfortable sleeping positions. Also more ammenaties would have been better, i.e. tea and coffee provided etc. Showers also had hardly any pressure so would just trickle which was dissapointing ! Overall a great little cottage however and great owners! Also some coat hooks within the cottage at the entrances would be great as we couldn't find anywhere to hang our coats when we got back from walking dogs so had to put them in the bedrooms which was a bit inconvenient maybe (would be a nice touch/helpful)

Loved the cottage it was lovely and clean for when we arrived and was cosy. Ian and alex were very helpful throughout

the property was amazing and so spacious! we loved every second of our stay and none of us wanted to leave! the location could not have been better, Quex park is an ideal location for families as there is so much there to keep the whole family entertained.
