Perfect in every way. There isn't anything negative about the Florence. I'd highly recommend a stay with Dave and Gwen. I certainly wouldn't look anywhere else to stay in Whitby. I was on a hiking weekend with my local ramblers group . We all arranged our own accommodation. I was extremely happy with my choice whilst some were disappointed with theirs . Nothing was too much trouble and on spotting my water bottle Dave immediately said he'd fill it and place it in their fridge overnight, and in the freezer for a short time in the morning . I had lovely cold refreshing water on my hikes. I thank them both for a perfect stay

Great location the hospitality was second to none, room comfortable and spotless and the hosts went above and beyond it was like home from home. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning soon.

We liked everything

It was a lovely cozy guest house the owners went above and beyond with everything it was within walking distance into whitby harbour with plenty of shops bars and restaurants there was also a designated parking space .

Centrally located, freshly renovated and operated by committed owners. A very welcoming location. Breakfast was great. Parking arrangements are a bonus over other properties in the area too, great to leave the car and take the short walk into town

There was nothing that I didn't like. Everything worked out just fine throughout my stay.

The guest house was only a few minutes and a short walk from the rail station, which made its location perfect. David and Gwen were the perfect hosts, warm, friendly and helpful. As for the breakfast, it was superb, and the ideal way to start the day.

Not too far from the centre. The B&B was immaculate. The best part was the fresh breakfast every morning. Dave and Gwen were very friendly and welcoming.

We had arranged an early check in, and arrived at the property as stated. Gwen and Dave greeted us and explained how/where to park etc. Dave helped us by taking our bags from the car and took them into the property. He then went in the car with my husband to show and explain the parking area which was only a 2/3 minute walk away. The Florence was spotlessly clean. Our double room was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. You can help yourself to tea/coffee etc for your room as you need them, from the dining room. Breakfast is pre-ordered. Choice of 4/5 cereals, fresh fruit salad and a selection of yoghurts to choose from. Then your choice of cooked breakfast items, tea and coffee and toast. All freshly made, hot and perfectly cooked and presented. Overall, you couldn't ask for more. They were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
