A bit funny about early check in but did eventually let us just leave our bags in the room

Quintessential Cotswolds pub with a stream running by and lovely garden. Our room has a balcony overlooking the stream and meadows

A little warm in the room overnight. Meals were great but a few things ran out early.

Riverside location, stone built and interiors tasteful. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms.

Need fluffier pillows. Premier Inn has better. Dinner wasn't great, the menu could do with a revamp. They are not wrong when they say there's no soundproofing so you will be woken by your neighbours flushing the loo in the night but it is such a lovely building and location you can forgive these minors, but the menu was a let down.

The location is stunning. Its a shame the bar shuts at 11 for guests. I do feel the room was on the expensive side, but you are paying for the beautiful location.

The view from the room ( Burford ) was poor and the bathroom did not have an extractor nor a working heated towel rail. Evening meal - the soup of the day ( curried parsnip ) was not up to the mark

Staff - exceptional service. Special mention to Andrea who excelled in her attention to detail and service. Breakfast - cooked very well with the eggs benedict and parmesan omelette being exceptional. Cotswolds Gins from the bar. Excellent picturesque location with ample parking .

Remodeled old and charming pub and inn in the countryside along a river. Pub very cozy with warm and welcoming staff. Dinner very good. Toffee pudding was amazing. Room was good size with comfortable furniture. Claw foot tub/shower in beautiful remodeled bath. Cooked to order included breakfast.

The room was a little small. I believe we were above the kitchen so had the drone of the extractor fan. Didn’t bother us too much but could others. Shower could do with somewhere to put soap/shampoo etc. nothing major

The Fox is in the most beautiful setting and near to many places of interest. A wonderful welcome and very attentive staff throughout our visit. Comfy beds for a restful nights sleep. Great food served during breakfast and evening.
