My fiancé and I stayed in the willow room lodge for 1 night and it was absolutely beautiful, clean & tidy. We met the owners Vanessa & Steve who are a lovely couple and the breakfast was delicious. They made us feel so welcome.😊

There was nothing we didn’t like, if anything it’s a shame we didn’t book for 2 nights

Had a fantastic stay, everything was super clean, even the bedding and towels smelt lovely and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and slept the whole night, was lovely to get away from everyday hustle and bustle and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature with the added bonus of a hot tub just outside the door, they seem to have gone that little extra mile from the twinkling lights outside round the trees to the comfort of home inside, lovely couple and very friendly, breakfast was brought to our door in the morning and everything was delicious! I’d definitely recommend to anyone and definitely be back, I also want to try out there fantastic looking tea room and the delicious home made cakes :-)

The welcome was warm and friendly. I only just made it in time for tea and a slice of delicious cake. The room was spotless and well decorated and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty.

Beautiful surrounds Lovely looking Outside area if the weather was good that you could sit outside and have a glass of wine The rooms were lovely and clean and decorated lovely. Had everything you needed.

We stayed in the Den & it was very spacious & comfortable. Be warned the breakfast is huge !!! Hot tub was lovely. Our host Vanessa very helpful & we will definitely visit again

There wasn’t anything to not like

Amazing place to stay with brilliant owners. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, we had a warm welcome and was asked if we knew the area at all and places to go. The room was lovely and was like a home away from home (we especially liked the fact hot chocolate was on offer in the room as we aren’t coffee or tea drinkers). Breakfast was amazing especially the French toast which I wish I got the recipe for! We only stayed the one night but will be back again and have recommended to other people!

Perhaps a grab rail over the bath would be appreciated by us older visitors.

Overall the Foxes Den is highly recommended, it is impeccable clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was incredible with fresh local ingredients and our hosts were warm and welcoming with nothing too much trouble, we shall certainly return

Very comfortable and clean room with new furnishings. Lovely breakfast in the café, thank you, Steve. Host Vanessa was attentive and had time for all her guests without being fussy. She was lovely to talk to and had lots of advice about the local area.

We absolutley loved this place, it is lovely and amazing value, the owner are lovely and very friendly. We will definitley be back. The breakfast was lovely as were the cakes we took away for later.

The only think I didn't like was the tea bags, Lots of choice, but I did go out and buy my own.

Very cute room, it was clean, and smelled fresh. I liked the outside entrance to your room, it made it feel more private than a hotel. The owners are lovely people, and make you feel very welcome.
