After a lot of walking there wasn't quite enough hot water for a soak in the bath.. but the comfy bed was a boon.

Lovely room, very clean, fresh and well-stocked. Easy to come and go. Fab location near Fox Valley with easy access to the outstanding scenery of the area. Great for hiking, cycling, walking etc. Very good about the dog staying too.

Drunk people outside the door shouting was a little annoying and when the cleaners came to clean the rooms, they left our door unlocked. This meant our belongings were left available to anyone who could access that area.

Clean, decent parking, comfortable and lovely staff that checked whether we needed anything. Easy check in process and right near fox valley which is nice.

Noise - loud music till late which we were expecting as we have read the reviews before booking so it wasnt an issue. There was also a drunk lady screaming in the hallway in the middle of the night which wasnt nice.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were lovely and we were happy with the location too.

The double bed had a dint in the middle so was quite uncomfortable to sleep on.

The clean room and design of it all, the tv had everything you could watch on it.

The toilet has been installed hilariously high so that our legs were swinging when sitting on it!

Entry instructions were very clear and well managed, the room was well decorated and very comfortable. Couldn't hear anything from the pub downstairs.

The bar area is in need of a little TLC but our hosts explained that they've only recently taken it over and are looking forward to the next phase.

We were made to feel very welcome and our room was spotless clean, with a very large bed, good quality tea and coffee making facilities and a good sized TV. The bathroom had a large shower and fluffy towels and a useful sensor light on the mirror. It's obvious that the whole of the top floor accommodation has been recently refurbished to an excellent standard and our stay was extremely comfortable.

A couple of quirks to know if you are considering staying: 1. The parking behind the property is quite scarce 2. I like a long shower, but after a time the water would start running not cold, but on the wrong side of lukewarm 3. If you want to get to sleep before 11pm bring earplugs as the rooms are right above a pub

Spotlessly clean and obviously recently renovated rooms. The bed was very comfy. Ideal location for an event I was attending at the retail park around the corner.

Live music from 9pm til gone 11 which was very noticeable in the room. It was a Saturday. I think they could have warned us when we called to book. Also the big steelworks at the back of the inn seem to work 24/7 so there is a hum from there. At 10pm until noon we were told the door from pub to rooms is locked which means entry to and from the rooms is via a steel staircase of three flights on the outside rear of the building. A bit like a wide fire escape. It was safe and had handrails either side but my dog was scared of the open steps so he had to be coaxed up them. Bear this in mind if you have limited mobility as you will need to exit using these stairs, carrying your luggage in the morning.

Room was very nice. Very modern and clean. Staff in the pub were friendly. They don’t serve food at the pub but there’s a big shopping centre a few mins walk away that has restaurants, plus a couple of takeaways.

The steps at the back of the hotel are not customer friendly. The steps within the hotel are better but on leaving at 10am were not open for departure meaning the back steps had to be used. Both entries are an area where improvement could be made
