Wifi dropped in and out, weak connection. Kitchen utensils and facilities were not well cleaned but might be a guest issue. No real community or close knit vibe like some hostels have.

Felt safe and private. Close to the coach station, great location. Bar noise was not an issue.

I wish people would stop making phone calls when in the dorms. The mattress covers are nearly too small for the mattresses, it's a struggle to put them on. Maybe just get mattress covers for double beds, which people will then be able to drape over the mattresses, like tablecloth over a table?

Well equipped large kitchen, safe for women who are single travellers. It's quite noisy (I use ear defenders as well as ear buds) when there's an event in the pub on the ground floor but the revellers can't walk into the hostel and wander around knocking on doors, vomiting in the corridors etc. so it's actually safer and cleaner than some house shares or apartment buildings!

One of the bunk beds was quite unstable. Slept on the top bunk and it kept moving slightly.

Chgarged £40 as deposit upon arrival. Checked out at noon instead of 11 and half the deposit was taken. Whille understood that it's policy, never experienced such for just an hour delay.

Very noisy. Toilets and showers are for men and women which makes it uncomfortable - when I was taking a shower some guy pissed in the shower cabin next to mine

The room was right off the beer garden so it might be noisy if you want to go to bed early but for us it was perfect. The venue we went to was just around the corner so the location was ideal.

Spacious dormitory, felt like you had a good amount of personal space. Lots of loos and showers. Luggage room. City centre location next to coach station/stops. Helpful staff. A building with a long, interesting history with all modern comforts.

Surprised by the additional £20 deposit needed at check in, however I got this back into my account within 2 days. There is also no salt in the kitchen so bring your own, tea and coffee is provided however!

Staff were very friendly, check in was easy. Overall very clean hostel, shared a room with mostly other people travelling for work which was nice! Sleep was comfortable and I felt very safe.

Showers were a bit weak and need a bit of a lick of paint. Would've preferred a location other aide of Bristol near Temple Meads, but nothing they can do about that
