Carpet could do with a clean!

Plenty of parking, good size room and shower room, very clean and good amenities, excellent location fur my stay good bus route in and out of town so no need to contend with traffic and parking.

The breakfast wasn’t included in the stay, there were a few things missing such as a bath Matt in the room. There is no lift, not an issue for us but maybe for some travellers.

Lack of storage in the bathroom, a shelf above the sink would have been really useful.

The stairs, I did struggle to get up the stairs to the second floor, but that was my error - I didn’t check to see if there was a lift.

Excellent food, the staff were great. I stayed there due to husband in hospital for an operation. I felt looked after by the staff and they made sure I could stay in my room a bit later so that i wasn’t hanging around to pick up my husband from Hospital.

The staff service on the bar, we waited 25 minutes for two cocktails and there was no one else being served. Extremely slow and to top it off the cocktails were quite bad.

The room was large and had a very comfortable bed. Very good shower. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. Dinner was also very nice. Can't complain, we enjoyed our stay!

No coffee in room though there was a nice coffee maker.. I think it was supposed to be there so clearly an oversight.. I did email afterwards but didn't get a reply. Also it could be clearer what to do with the key when leaving early (no drop off box, no message on exit door etc.) so I had to call the emergency number. These were minor things, the room was lovely and super-clean and considerately set out (radio on low in room upon arrival etc.)

The food is OK but expensive for the quality. Breakfast isn’t included in the room price and ends up being expensive. Depending on the room, you get a lot of food smells and noise from the extraction system.

Great location for visiting the uni accommodation and Sheffield itself, interesting rooms of generally a good size. Lots of parking. Staff are nice even though there are not enough of them.

The rooms didn't have any air conditioning, but it's an old property so somewhat expected. The shower was also a little on the small side!

The room was good, the staff were helpful. The restaurant had good food for dinner (pizzas were great).

Not being able to have breakfast or check out properly the Saturday before 8. We had to leave without as we were on a timetable.

Chic comfortable rooms. Attractive bar area with live music. Classic gastro pub menu in the restaurant but done really well. Friendly staff.

No lift and quite steep stairs. Lots of steps up from car park but a car can set down at main entrance.

more milk for the coffees. maybe have a fridge or just more milk and coffees available - always use two milk cartons as I like milky coffee and that was it gone. so no coffee to drink in the morning.

We had a room on the second floor and there is no lift so a little difficult with luggage. We were in room 9 which was quite spacious and well appointed. The bed was quite hard and the Robert’s radio that appeared in the pictures was missing. When we questioned this we were told that it must have been stolen! The bathroom was very clean and the towels were beautifully clean and fluffy. The shower was very small however. A large person would really struggle.

We ate Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime. Both meals were very good. Sunday lunch was excellent!
