the approach was difficult but we were allowed to park at the house instead of in the car park after the first night which made things a lot better.

Breakfast was excellent location excellent geat view Sue & John are pleasant & helpful, must admit the double room we had was not the biggest but big enough, Also great touches not normally found in a b&b hand & bath towels bath robes fridge in the room small but handy & very clean , nice comfortable seating outside

Sue and John was lovely hosts the b&b is stunning and the location and views was also stunning the room was very clean big comfortably beds tea and coffee hot chocolate a fridge with water and fresh milk in the rooms delicious biscuits the little attention to details was all good ... breakfast choice was amazing and all delicious we would most definitely be staying here again and recommending to friends and family x

A fabulous stay in the Derwent room, and we enjoyed all aspects from the wonderful views, spotlessly clean and spacious bedroom and the included breakfast every day. Highly recommended

Beautiful location, friendly owners, and lots of information provided to us to explore the local area. Lovely breakfast with a variety of options available. Modern bathroom and loved the added touch with robes provided.

The location can be difficult to access dependent on the weather but it isn't a criticism.

The owners were very attentive and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Room very spacious and clean. We even got upgraded! Although, only a small window for breakfast there are many different option to choose from.

The Gables location was great & the views were stunning. Sue & John were great hosts & the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The room we stayed in The Derwent Suite was lovely with a roll top bath.

We had a bit of a struggle to park car park very small,and the hill up to the house is very steep apart from that the view was lovely .

We liked. everything Sue and John were lovely .Breakfast was very good ,nothing to much trouble fabulous bed king it was a small room but very warm and cosy.All nice and clean .

The location (steep gradients from both directions) were definitely not for the faint-hearted! The partition wall between our room and the neighbouring one was not as well sound-proofed as it might have been.

Excellent choice and standard of breakfast. Sue was careful to see that we had all we needed, and gave us good guidance on how to maximise our time in the area, where to eat etc. House and room were fitted out comfortably and restfully.

The room was lovely, really comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. A word of warning though, the road up to the property is very steep, nothing that any car couldn't manage, but care is needed. All-in-all, we had a really enjoyable weekend, and if you are into walking, and have the time, then I recommend you do the 6.2 miles Cromford circular walk starting from the Gables (ask the host for the information sheet), because it's a stunning walk.

Nothing to dislike but there is a very steep road to reach the property - hence the fabulous views!

Beautiful location with spectacular views. Hosts were very welcoming with tea and cake on arrival. Lots of breakfast choices. Room was very comfortable (suite) with toiletries, towelling gowns, fridge with fresh milk (!), water, kettle and plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate
