I had problems accessing the internet via my laptop, mainly due to the weak password (a common occurrence in hotels and pubs). I also had problems accessing email via my mobile when in the restaurant plus some areas of the car park, although I was able to access them when in my room.

I've stayed at The George before, as it is well located for when I'm visiting the local area. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very pleasant and the food is generally good.

Efficient warm welcome on arrival. Good wifi. Exceptionally comfortable bed in spacious room. My brother's breakfast looked very good but I could not enjoy a cooked breakfast as I had somewhat over-indulged the previous evening - yes, the drinks were very good too!

Shower was too high for me ,so didn’t have a shower.Also dust on lamp also toilet roll in toilet.Also my room must have been over kitchen noisy in evening ,and abit in the morning early.

It’s a lovely pub with a fantastic restaurant and a few rooms. We stayed one night and our room was really excellent - very clean, great facilities, comfortable and quiet. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and there is a large car park Breakfast was outstanding

Rooms can be noisy if bar area and restaurant are busy, but this is only a minor gripe.

Breakfast - great to get properly made poached eggs for a change, so many hotels and B&Bs fail on this simple task. Though I did not eat an evening meal this time around, from experience they use quality ingredients and prepare the food very well. Room was nice and spacious, with a comfy bed and a large shower area.

It would have been nice if there were other hot drink options in the room: hot chocolate and different flavoured teas. The breakfast was lovely, but there wasn't a menu to help me see what was on offer, although the waiter said that the kitchen could make anything for breakfast.

The staff were lovely, Sally in particular. I had accidentally booked the wrong night to stay and turned up the day before. The staff were really accommodating and were able to rearrange my booking (thankfully they had a spare room). The food was delicious, both evening meal and breakfast. The room was comfy, clean, on a quiet location, and close enough to Market Harborough. Good parking facility too.

It was close to a main road and the hotel is part if a pub so the weekend evenings can be noisy until not long after last orders are called.

Just little thing at breakfast , a little fruit with the yogurt would have been nice and toast on the table but other wise it was very good ,good portions .

At first glance from the road wasn’t impressed but never judge a book by its cover .the garden at the back was delightful and the hotel lived well up to expectations. Breakfast was good could have been better otherwise it would have been a 10 .dinner was lovely.
