The walls were very thin, we could hear another couple arguing in the morning. The room was also very hot with no clear instructions on how to turn the heating down. We didn’t see a single member of staff during our stay.

-There is no parking for this property (we were aware) but there were not clear instruction for the overnight car parks close to the property. I called the owner to ask for advice,he didn't know what to advice and he was like in a rush to finish the call, which I found a bit rude as there is no staff inside to speak with. I had to move the car somewhere else to avoid to risk that couldn't stay at that car park overnight. Then I moved again the car in the morning as it's resident permit only close to the property from 8am till 6pm. -Central heating set on 25 degrees,too hot! No possibility to turn it down from the room. When I called the owner he told me just to switch it off from the radiator valve (so in the end the room was cold in the morning) -Description says there is a restaurant in the property with possibility of breakfast in the morning,but really it doesn't exist. The owner told me that restaurant is not done yet and it will be available in the next 3 weeks. After that I checked reviews and also other people said this weeks before. - Pillows too thin, uncomfortable to sleep with. -No wardrobe in the room, also no hangers for coats. It was ok for us because we stayed only one night,but for people staying more days this could be quite annoying.

- Modern room -Big shower, bathroom looked newly fitted -Location close to the sea -Easy check in and check out (there is a code for the outside door and a letter box inside to return the keys for checking out); but we didn't see any staff/owner.

The pillows on the bed were very thin, all 4 of us thought so. Unfortunately we didn’t want the added expense of asking for more. The fitted sheets on the mattresses came off during the night, they are too small for the mattress, we really struggled to get them back on. It would be nice to of had a sign to hang on the door to state wether or not we needed anything…clean sheets, towels, tea bags, coffee, sugar…instead of having to message/call for room service (but that’s probably me just being overly picky haha)

We were very happy with the cleanliness to the hotel itself as well as the room. The whole place was very well maintained. The decor in the room was very nice and it smelled lovely. The shower was amazing!!!

Only a few little niggles but as we were only staying one night they didn’t bother us. The loo was very close to the shower meaning tall people didn’t have a lot of leg room, plus only one very thin pillow each provided. Apart from that we couldn’t fault the room and would definitely stay again.

As a newly renovated property it is very modern , fresh and clean. Great location for town and seafront. Bed was comfy, free WiFi is a bonus and a nice little hospitality tray too. Would come again

The bed wasn't comfortable, unfortunately, and the pillows were even worse. It was so thin it was like there wasn't a pillow in the sheet at all, I'm afraid. Also there wasn't a shower curtain or anything t stop the water from going in the floor and just splashed everywhere. Made puddles around the toilet and in the floor out of the shower. On a whole a fantastic experience but this part really let the side down.

Cleanliness, size of the room, location and the shower we all amazing. I would happily stay again and recommend to friends!

Parking but that is no fault of the property

Brand new and immaculate lovely comfy beds and a power shower. Kettle hairdryer central heating on. All that you require for a comfy night's sleep. Right near regent road for the location. Everything on hand. Only downside is there isn't much parking around but if your out of season you will find one. Otherwise it's the big carpark that used to be the old train station around the corner 3 mins walk. We had a massive room with 2 double beds as my granddaughter gets fed up with sofa beds when we go away. So the doubles are great.the key was in our room waiting for us when we arrived . We had the door code and they let us know the room number. I have never done this before and I found it a bit confusing . But otherwise a very relaxing stay and we will come again.

Everything really, nice new brand new hotel, the staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome!! I stayed for 8 nights and had no problems what so ever! Would definitely recommend staying at The Get Away!!

Only improvent I'd personally recommend would be a small mini fridge just big enough to keep milk in so can make a coffee/tea if staying a few days. Not all that nice using non fresh milk, preference I guess though, and not all hotels do. Fixtures were fitted a little wrong, so had to turn it to cold to get hot water and vice versa.

The room was modern, light and airy, warm and smelt very fresh (very nice plug-in air freshner) . The bed and covers were very comfortable and good quality. Think the hotel had only recently opened, so everything was new. Nice bathroom and shower, towels provided, with toilet paper, hand-wash. Had a couple of complementary bottles of water, few tea bags some sugar and coffee packs. decent enough WiFi also. Very pleasant and comfortable stay, would happily return.

Very happy with our stay, room very spacious and very clean. Close to the beach. Staff very helpful, they decorated our room for my daughter's birthday and provided a cake. Overall a lovely trip I would recommend staying here.

Yellow urine left in toilet for our arrival, rust and slime substance on top of toilet roll holder, pillows are terribly thin and only had a sheet and no duvet on our bed, cold rainy day too and the heating wasn’t on and could not get the heating on,tv had no standard channels but is smart for your own Netflix etc, drill dust left on skirting board, broken roller blind and could hear next door till 5:30am very clearly, local drunks being sick that live opposite, the main door and others have no self closers so you hear slamming constantly, we couldn’t wait to leave ! The area is full of drug addicts too, no parking at all so had to leave my car well away from my stay,

Room was very spacious had 2 double beds with plenty of room still to move around beautiful bathroom with shower. Beds where super comfy! Very close to all the amenities great yarmouth has to offer! Would definitely recommend.

It really depends on what you want, this is simply a room where you get a code to enter and don't have any customer service or personal contact with the host, (we arrived at 5pm as agreed and no sign of the host simply sent a key code to get access). My issue is that this is not how it was presented on Booking.com. There were no canteen facilities at all and I only saw the host when the fire alarm activated! If you want this type of set-up they this is ideal, if you expect B&B then this is not for you. I did message the host and asked about breakfast when I initially booked the room but got no response, clearly this is why.
