The breakfast, was brilliant we were also asked if we would like anything changing they would do it for us , we has the evening meal and none of us could fault a thing it was very tasty

Almost nothing to criticise. Room better than expected and breakfast generous. Car park is a bit small so could be a challenge if lots of guests/locals bring a car. Getting takeaway delivered took around 45mins.

Very clean, all signage clear but not obtrusive, staff clearly focussed on guests needs. Locals in bar respected our space, while getting on with their lives - we think there was a pool league or similar event. Location was better than expected - yes, it's near the Expressway but we got little traffic noise and found a nice walk into the village and nearby seafront. Room was warm, comfortable and well furnished, with reliable plumbing. Had chairs in bedroom which many places miss out. We had missed dinner time but owner Steve helped us order a delivered-takeaway and provided plates and cutlery. Breakfast was generous and tasted great. Over breakfast co-owner Gavin chatted to us about things to do nearby - and his suggestions proved excellent. Made great start to holiday week.

Great welcome on arrival from Gavin. Given full details of all facilities on site also some great tips for the local area. Food was excellent all freshly cooked especially the Sunday lunch, daily breakfast the same freshly cooked each morning. Great three night stay with our dog (very dog friendly pub) highly recommend, will return at the first opportunity.

Breakfast was very good however dinner not as good. Simple touches could make such a difference. Mac and cheese slop in a bowl. Why not bake it quickly with some cheese on top in a nice dish? Garlic bread on the side. Wine glass filthy and had to be sent back how the waitress didn’t see that I have no idea. . All glasses full of water marks and is really off putting. Food on floor/tables and sticky tables. Doesn’t make you feel comfortable about eating there. Having to check your plate or cutlery is clean every time.

Convenient location; clean, comfortable, large room with a great view of the sea. Pub downstairs served an excellent dinner and, since it was Friday night, we got the fish and chips special for only ten pounds each. Our host, Gavin, was cheerful, helpful and hard-working - he did everything! We were really impressed by him.
