Another pleasant overnight stay, (while visiting family nearby again), so location is excellent for us. The twin room was great, and we had a huge bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, just like last time we stayed. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again. Would recommend.

As said you always had to find someone who wanted to serve drinks or food. The bed was just springs, not comfy. In the morning everything was closed. I had to leave a door open to make sure I got back whilst taking some sandwiches from the next door supermarket. Was not sure where to leave the key on departure, lucky for me I found a cleaner. If you claim to be a hotel, you will need to inform you guests of the conditions please.

Went here because the price was great. And what can you expect for this very low price? The staff was friendly but not very interested to work. The room was good size and the bathroom was great, nice shower and OK size. The food was OK.

10.00 am check out is quite early, however when we asked there was no problem extending that to 10.30 am.

Great central location, friendly helpful staff, exceptional booked breakfast, comfortable bed in recently refurbished room.

The strength of the coffee which was a bit watery.

My room was lovely and we'll equipped with tea, coffee and biscuits if desired. No the room and enjoy suits were spotless.

We couldn't sleep. Probably just our luck but they were getting their heating fixed and we got a knock on the door to let the plumber in. They fixed heating but we had no control over the heating and the room was like a sauna all night long, we could not sleep.

The food was amazing. Would defo go back.

Key to door was very stiff and I had trouble opening the door. I had to leave my luggage in the car, open the hotel door then go back to car to get my belongings. I do have trouble with my hands due to arthritis so do not have the power in my hand to turn the handle. It took me about 20 minutes to get the door open. Also i had to take the outside door key off the key ring before I could actually open the door as there was not much space between the door handle and the wall. Toilet could do with having a small bin placed in it. There was a small bin in the Bedroom but I could have done with one in the bathroom also. This is not a complaint just an observation of how you could improve things for the future. especially for disabled. No Bedrooms on ground floor was a bit disappointing and if I had known that before i went I may not have booked. However I did enjoy my stay there.

It was very good for what i needed. I was able to go in and out at any time. I was there for a reason and my needs were met. I did not use the facilities so I cannot accurately rate that as I only wanted a bed to sleep in nothing more, however the facilities looked alright and the staff whom i spoke to were very polite and friendly . Also none of the rooms have baths but i felt the bathroom was large enough to facilitate a bath. When you have arthritis it is very important to get a bath to be able to sleep. I was able to get a bath each night elsewhere.

the wifi signal was not great in one of our rooms and none existent in the other. the breakfast times need to be extended as we could only get breakfast between 7:30 and 8:30 and when im away i like to sleep in so we ended up going down the road for breakfast

we have stayed in this hotel on previous occasions and i must admit the new owners have done a great job with improving the hotel and it looks like they have more improvements still being done. the cleanliness was fantastic. we only ate in the restaurant once but i have to give the chef top marks as the food was fantastic.

The mattresses in both my room and my parents room where awful. You could feel every spring and made such a noise when you move. My room no 6 was situated at a back door which people kept using so was banging alot till close time.

The staff couldn't be more helpful and the food was delicious. The place was clean and I'd say the room was at its value and did the purpose of what it should.
