Shower in bath which was very slippery. Non slip bathmat needed. Water pressure from shower very weak. Needs improving.

In room 2. Two sensor lights were out one in entry and one in bathroom. Shower the temperature gauge was very stiff and difficult to adjust temperature

Lovely looking property, friendly staff and room was clean with good facilities, hairdryer, mini fridge, TV. Choice of hot drinks and some biscuits.

Excellent value, very nice and warm rooms with comfy bed and nice en-suite. Nice decor and USB sockets by the bed! Friendly locals in the bar made me feel welcome.

We couldn't get a seat in the bar area and had to perch at the bar, which was uncomfortable. A few smaller tables would have been appreciated since the big table in the window that would seat 6+ was taken by two guys, one sitting at each end, sadly. Unfortuntely breakfast wasn't available due to the unexpected hospitalisation of the main chef - that certainly couldn't be helped so it wasn't a negative, we just found a local garden centre with fab cafe and ate there instead.

Great food and lovely friendly service from bar staff, waitress and chef. All home cooked food and it was delicious.

The food was okay but didn’t like the frozen veg , it’s what I use at home not what I expect to have out , meal was okay but could be improved although prices are keen

The property is great , an old world style hotel . This was my 2nd stay they are now doing meals in the evening

We were only there for 2 nights but was a little disappointed that the room was not cleaned on the Saturday, we weren’t bothered about havinfpg fresh towels but the tea coffee and milks were not replenished. Although there is information pamphlets downstairs there is no information in the room

They don’t do breakfast which is a little disappointing.p but ŵe did know this when we booked We wanted to eat there on Friday night but the bar area was busy and when w3 asked about eating in the room allocated just for people having meals it was full of children so we went and ate at a different venue

The bathroom light goes off while your enjoying a soak in the spacious bath in the on suite bathroom. You have to wave an arm or leg to trigger the sensor to get it to go on again.

It hidden away, but still close enough to Hereford, a period country inn, pub lounge and bar serving bar meals, with local folk enjoying their drinks and meals there. I can’t comment on breakfast as I needed to check out before breakfast had begun.

Lots of spiderwebs and the room didn’t get cleaned, refreshed and topped up while we was out

I'd say the only downside is the room was a little dirty in terms of dust and cobwebs in the corners of the room. But that is literally my only complaint regarding the room. There also isn't any food available but as the owner has only just taken on the place, it's a work in progress. That being said - we'd absolutely come back and stay again, which we fully intend to do.

The host was lovely, room was comfortable and the facilities were great. It's conveniently located between Ludlow and Hereford which makes it a great base point. There's a lovely beer garden which means you can relax after a busy day and then head back up to the room afterwards. Views from the rooms are great and the building itself is beautiful.
