The room we were in must have been above and close to the kitchen because the sound of fans, electric motors etc. was prevalent all night making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel was clean and well run, the bar was well stocked and the food was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Good value for money but perhaps a Friday night is not the best time to book a room.

Our room was above the main door which made a double banging noise each time someone entered or left the building! Because it was Friday night, that happened until 1.00am and then started again early the next morning!

Th room was very clean and the facilities were good for the price.

Family room (I think no9, end of top floor right) was amazing however it had a noise cancelling window inside the original window, great but then the emergency exit door was not sound proofed so when someone decided to jet wash the courtyard on a Sunday morning at 7am we were not happy! Also what looked like an external aircon unit right out side the emergency door meant a constant humming noise that may disturb some, not so much us. Also the main room door onto the corridor has a substantial gap at the bottom letting in further noise-if you have the pleasure of loud neighbours!

Great size, big bathroom, the softest towels, comfy bed, stylish design just totally not expected from a Weatherspoon Hotel-had not stayed in one before but definitely would again!

The public spaces were small, in fact the smallest of the six wetherspoon hotels we've stayed in. Therefore not many options to find a table for six people.

As we always find with Wetherspoon hotels, the staff were consistently good, always helpful. When three of our six were served cold breakfasts, replacements were served. When these were still only half acceptable, a refund was given. Two of our three rooms were spacious, the third was very small. But all agreed that the beds were comfortable!

Front door to property/pub banged shut, therefore impossible to sleep prior to closing times. General pub & eating areas need attention.

Room well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast selection & price good.

Some noise from the pub garden. But it is a pub! Would not stop me from booking again.

The staff were friendly on arrival and we were quickly checked in. You have to go to the bar to let them know you have arrived. The room was very large, including the bathroom. To get to the corridor of your room you needed your key card. This meant no public access, making you feel safer. The only slight downside was that you could here noise from the pub garden. However it is a pub, so that is not unreasonable. However once the pub closed, the noise stopped within 10 minutes. The room was well stocked with tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, biscuits and water. I would definitely stay here again.

The fire exit in room 209 would benefit from some draft excluder which would also have the benefit of blocking noise from the courtyard below.

The rooms were spot on. Excellent tea/coffee facilities with plenty of teabags/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits and bottled water. Very clean and spacious rooms.

There is no view, windows are in the ceiling. The room was a little chilly, that could be due to the height of it. The TV seemed a little lost on the far wall, watching wasn't that easy from the double bed. There was a fan that seemed to be running all night somewhere nearby

The family room we booked was HUGE - extremely impressed! It was all set out ready for the 5 of us too, including the sofa-bed. We're a family of 5 and didn't need 2 rooms. It was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. Everyone happy. The double bed was absolutely massive.
