Some of the outdoor rooms are accessed by a very steep, stone staircase. If somebody has a physical disability, I'd recommend that they contact the hotel to arrange a ground floor room.

    Stunning historic building.

I checked in quite late and reception closed almost immediately. There were no clear signs or map to the night door and it was a bit dark and spooky trying to find my way out and in

They called me to check that I was still coming when I was stuck in traffic. Very welcoming. Lovely comfortable room.

The only "negative" thing I have to say is that I would have loved it if the restaurant's interior had reflected the rest of the hotel better. It felt a bit bland compared to our room, bar, reception, and that amazing courtyard garden. But the food was super good.

The look and feel of the hotel, our room was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and we really liked it. Breakfast was very good; you can order a hot meal or select from the breakfast bar. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was very good.

I would say... nothing! All was great. Just a shame they don't serve lunch, it'd be great in a small town like Lutterworth to find good food in the daytime. Kitchen is only open from 6pm.

Such an amazing place! Typically British in the best way possible; the countryard and the structure are old fashioned and so elegant. Tha staff is kind and gentle. Breakfast and everything were super.

The pub allows dogs but there is no where close by to take a dog out. This is not an issue for us as I know the area well but if you were visiting advise of where to go would be good.

The breakfast is good value for money and staff will accommodate changes in the set menu. Dog is always made to feel welcome. Staff are welcoming and I often email requests before our stay and these are accommodated. Family run business.

As it was the first of June, the central heating was off and my room was a bit chilly, as the weather was unusually cold. I asked staff and was given a fan heater to take off the chill . But the problem was solved immediately so not really a problem.

I came with family to Lutterworth for a family wedding. We had a wonderful time. The Greyhound Inn is where many of the family and friends stayed. It was so handy, in the middle of town and opposite the town hall where the wedding ceremony and party were held. The staff at the Greyhound were friendly and really helpful. The rooms were clean and bright, good showers , comfy beds. The breakfast was amazing! Nice bar and courtyard area. The parking is just behind the courtyard. The building itself is beautiful, very old, I think Georgian. Had a great stay.

When we arrived, we asked about parking to be told that the hotel doesn't have its own car park, this was a surprise as Parking is listed on booking.com as one of the most popular features of the hotel and part of our reason for booking. We were advised that we could use the public carpark, which is usefully on the doorstep, but be aware it is small and very busy and that Monday to Friday parking starts at 7.00am and also that the car park is short stay. As we weren't sure when we would arrive in the evening, we didnt book into the restaurant, but were told that we could eat in the bar, or at least we could have done if they werent run off their feet... restaurant looked 70% empty as did the bar but hey it could have got busier after we left to find a very nice local Italian. Breakfast looked good, but as they messed up our order we had to cancel it as we needed to get on the road, which was a shame. Anyway, having not been able to eat at the hotel, we were a little taken aback to be chased up the road after checking out for unpaid restaurant and drinks bill - the explanation, without apology, being that someone must have used our room number.

Overall, very friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable room. Nice "local" feel to the bar. Great position for visiting the surrounding area or to break a journey as we had, although Lutterworth itself is probably not on the siteseeing list!
