Very central. I have mobility issues but there was a lift at reception to just outside the room. Being a Witherspoon hotel it is part of the pub/restaurant which some people may not like. We found it very convenient for food and a drink.

The walls were paper thin. As awkward as it is we heard the room next door doing certain activities (they weren't even being loud but we heard everything)......Funny yes, but not when trying to sleep; Luckily we didn't have our children with us! They mark on their page about the noise outside however we didn't have any issues with the noise downstairs, only the noise next door... We booked 2 rooms for the night, however due to the adverse weather the week beforehand we were unable to have our friends come into the other room. Would have liked a reminder so we could cancel the booking as the other room was £107 which obviously has went to waste but not much can be done about that.

Amazing Shower, it was large and the water pressure/heat was great - Bed was comfortable, not indented like some beds when they've been slept on too much, this was just right. Pillows were great also - Room was nice and spacious and had everything we needed (mirror, free water, iron etc) - Great location, right in the centre of town, taxis could come right up outside if needed also.

Our 2 hour wait at bar / check in , told our room not ready ,please wait 20 mins , after half hour , young manager guy says still not ready and he couldn't tell us when it wd be ,, Also. After an hour wait we found units in room thick with dust , and big grey / old cobweb ( not newly spun one / hanging above bed ) very disappointed,😞 ( I have photo s,)

Very awkward check-in arrangements, at the very busy bar, not at the front desk, which was through a locked door! We were not the only ones confused. Also, over our three day stay, the key card stopped working for our room door. We could access the building, not our room. Had to return to the bar, find someone free to help us, etc. The most frustrating thing was that the wi-fi was super weak or non-existent in our room. The hub is in the bar area, far away. Our room was quite small and did not resemble the palatial look of the photos. The shower was nice but only a rain shower no hand held.

Good location on the High Street. Free public parking about 10 minutes walk but through the beautiful park. Lovely bed, good towels, modern bathroom. Clean, and cleaning staff were friendly.

Checkin could be better, doors were closed and receptionist was not very helpful. During the night the fire alarm went of and everybody had to go outside. After being in the cold for more than half an hour some compensation would have been nice or at least a cup of coffee.

Couldn't get the heating to work and the curtains didn't fit the window so it didn't make the room dark enough because of the street lights.

Hard to get to as the position is on a street that is only 2 way for a few hours a day and parking is about a block away. Don't eat there. We were told afterwards about eating there, not before, wish we had been told. Food was below average, there are a couple of eateries nearby that were recommended after the fact.

The room was great as were the staff. The building has a lift which was a huge bonus.

The smell of smoke entered our room from the bathroom, I think someone was smoking in another bathroom and the smell came through the extractor fan system

There is a notice at reception instructing all guests to check in at the bar which isn't ideal. After checking in at the bar(joining a queue of folks getting a drink) I had to go back to the reception area for access to the room. A buzzer at reception would have saved me from dragging the case through to the bar from reception and then back again. It's a bad first impression, but we'll be back.

Convenient for the town centre and the Alhambra. Clean and comfortable room. Staff are pleasant, helpful and hard working.
