Disliked strong smell from reed diffusers in room and bathroom.

Excellent breakfast. Peaceful, quiet location but easy access to motorway, Cardiff and amenities. Comfortable bed.

Not much to complain about. the stairs up to the room where a bit narrow, but that's a bit picky.

Unfortunately didn't get an opportunity to eat there for the evening meal, I'm sure it would have been really good based on the breakfast the following morning.

Excellent room with good wifi. Ideally located for my works visit. Perfect cooked breakfast with friendly service to get your day started. Would visit again.

A real treasure. Comfortable room, restaurant food excellent (the restaurant was full on a Wednesday night !), a variety of beers, very friendly staff. Breakfast really good. I can see why the pub has won many awards.

The room where we had breakfast was cold,but I feel the cold so I'm maybe being a bit picky.

The room was ground level, lovely big bed,really comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the Cook was friendly and helpful , very clean, the tea and coffee was plentiful, and the bonus there was a fridge in the room. They done everything possible for me to have an early check in .

Fantastic location, very scenic, and exactly what you expect for a homely-feeling B&B. The food is honestly exceptional (particularly the breakfast!!), and the staff were unbelievably kind and accommodating for the numerous random requests that a family with a new baby could come up with! We will definitely be returning again in the near future.

The room was spacious and clean, the personnel was exceptionally nice, the check in/out procedure really fast. They accommodated all my needs in terms of invoicing. The breakfast was amazing and fresh. For dinner you can dine in their exceptional pub, one of the best that I have been the last 2 years that I am living in the UK. There is a parking but be careful if you on the afternoon it might be full of pub customers on the parking. Park on the road below and move it later. Finally, it is really close to Treforest which is really convenient and it is located near hiking routes

Very comfortable and quiet - gorgeous breakfast - very friendly staff all round - would revisit again like a shot I visited when pub was shut on a Tuesday so wasn’t able to sample a ping but still lovely !

The heating wasn't already on when we got to the room but we were shown how to turn it on and off for ourselves. A thermostat would've been preferable.

Beautiful view, set in a lovely part of Wales and close to Cardiff centre. The staff were all incredibly friendly and so kind considering our journey was so difficult and we ended up arriving so late.

Access up the country lane was a bit tricky. Parking was OK. I ought to have booked nearer Cardiff for the visiting I was doing. ( not the fault of the hotel!!
