Great location, big room, comfortable king bed, modern bathroom, good breakfast and bar. Staff wonderful. Great place to stay.

Rooms could probably be doing with being redecorated. Continental breakfast was basic.

Arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon for a couple of nights. Our friends were staying at a nearby caravan park. The room was small as was the bed (my husband is 6ft 2") however it was comfortable and clean and we were only in it for sleeping. The bathroom was compact but functional and the shower head although small was powerful with plenty of hot water. Bar area was lovely and modern.Entertainer on the Saturday night was fabulous. We had our breakfast in the conservatory area both mornings good choice of hot breakfast but continental was basic. The young staff who served breakfast and worked the bar in the evening were great and appeared to be happy at their work with always a smile.

We were 2 couples. one room was in the main hotel which was nice, with a large bed and a great shower. One room was in the attic of the Anglesey room next door, they called it the harbour view and I think it was number 1, however it had no number in the door. The mattress was dreadful, very thin with springs sticking out. The room needed a thorough overhaul, the shower was small and the door wouldn’t shut. getting the room was hazardous with bags as the ceiling above the stairs was so low. It was not good. We asked to be moved but they were full so the manager did the best she could. It would not put me off staying there again but I would check which room you are allocated before paying.

Great location overlooking the harbour in this lovely little town. The food was amazing, restaurant quality, I would highly recommend it.

Needs refurbishment but this is probably reflected in the price.

Harbour House Hotel is now starting to look quite tired and could do with a refurb. However, all staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. Dog friendly.

Although the beds were a good size mine was a little uncomfortable, as I hadn't raised this as an issue until departure (thought it was my arthritis) I cant complain, I have brought it to the attention of the staff who were very apologetic and dealt with the issue in a professional manner and will raise with manager. As with many a seaside hotel some aspects of the hotel were looking tired but it seems they are in the process of sprucing up the hotel for the season, and for the price we paid this was not an issue.

The location was great, staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble even though they were very busy at times, enjoyed the breakfast and room was lovely

Head height on staircase leading to our attic room and head height within the room. My husband is 6ft 3in and he struggled to stand up in the room and even I at 5ft 7in struggled with the stair head height and comb ceilings. We had a great stay, great food and value for money for the package we paid, but would have been nice to have been warned about these physical challenges. We would return but make sure that we had a different room next time.

Attic room very hot even with window open, perhaps fan/air conditioning unit in summer. Bathroom very spacious, but no shelf or space for toiletries around sink or hook for towel, not major issues but little things that would help.

Unfortunately my bed (double in room 4) had a v hard mattress full of lumps resulting in poor sleep. Bathroom door scraped on floor when opening which woke people up. Easy fixes otherwise a great hotel.

Location and ease of parking/access. Nice bar area. Breakfast was good and staff were excellent. Had supper at close by pub as i knew it well.

Our double bed was 2 single mattresses on a double base. Which were very uncomfortable. Also we went with another couple who booked at the same time as us they got an apartment and we got a room for exactly the same price.

Breakfast was of a good standard, not great but good. Had an issue with the toilet flusing and it was fixed within an hour by a local plimber. Staff extremly friendly and helpful. Would go back.

Decor a bit tired. The black and white film canvasses don't really fit the theme of a seaside hotel. Shower head holder in room broken Floor uneven in room. Could have done with extra pillows. Call from staff after we got home to say we hadn't paid food and drink bill that had been charged to our room (5) but we didn't eat dinner in the hotel and the one round of drinks was paid on ordering. Staff member apologised.
