A minor point - no toilet roll holder in the bathroom!

Breakfast was good. Nice to order the cooked food instead of a buffet. Bed very comfortable. Quality fixtures and fittings.

Miscommunication with being able to check in before the wedding on the Saturday - some rooms that were booked could check in early others couldn’t.

We were there for a wedding. I first stayed in the Nancy Curnard room with the bride and other maid of honour. which was an exceptional room, the bathroom was just amazing!! In the second night myself and partner had a room and this was a lovely little room very pleased with it.

Had to ask reception where bar staff were as no one there to take last orders. Not acceptable at a quality hotel but minor detail to be honest as Stay was wonderful

The bedside lighting had a faulty connection and the lamp was so fragile, it easily fell over.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and being able to eat on the premises and with parking available close by.

The bathroom in the Courtyard Suite doesn’t have heating but is made out of glorious marble. Was very chilly!

Coming to the Haycock is like coming home. Friendly welcoming staff, clean and presentable rooms in a lovely location.

At this price point I would expect a decent coffee machine Nespresso for example. Dinner was very nice but cooked breakfast disappointing.

Only thing we would comment on is the breakfast. Described as 'full English' was disappointing, very small and not substantial enough (the bacon was mostly fat and very little meat!) However, on the plus side there was fruit and cereal and lovely bread available too, which more than made up for the small cooked offering :)

Exceptional hotel in historic surroundings. Everything was good and we would stay again if in the area. The room was large and spotless, the bed very cosy and comfortable. En-suite bathroom was big, the shower excellent. All staff were courteous and professional throughout the Hotel.

Breakfast first morning wasn’t up to scratch and I believe the food I had from the bar gave myself and partner food poisoning and we ended up missing my cousins 30th birthday party.

Very comfortable ground floor bedroom with doors out onto patio, excellent shower room and great bed. Rest of hotel looked stylish and newly decorated.

Struggling to find anything negative, maybe the gym a little bit too small but that's being really picky.

I was blown away by the style and décor, really impressed. Staff helpful and friendly, food and drinks superb. The rooms are clean comfy and spacious, the bathroom seemed brand new and the shower was incredible! Small gym was ok. Value for money ! Highly recommended!

The décor in the hotel is beautiful throughout. Our room was spacious, clean and had good facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was of really good quality. The entire experience felt very luxurious and was reasonably priced.

I'm glad that the breakfast was included in the room rate and we didnt' need to pay extra as £22 for a very small cooked breakfast would have been far too much. Service at breakfast was a little slow but they may have been short staffed.

Everything was amazing. We attended for a wedding and everything was lovely from the accommodation to the facilities and the staff were really helpful
