Beautiful location, perfect for a mini break

The room cleanliness was dire dirt on all skirtings, headboard , pictures , room not hovered bathroom dust thick on tiles , shower base mould on tiles , 6 cracked floor tiles!!! No shampoo , no soap in dispenser

Lovely location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Both bar meal and breakfast were excellent. Room very clean and comfortable with great views. Well maintained public areas inside and out.

Stain on bed side but they did cleaned it off for me- however it felt a bit dirty after seeing this so obvious in the room . The bathroom light didn’t work , spa an additional price- should be included for all prices.

what a gem of a place. staff, food, and accommodation were all O.K The only downside is that the location was good for parking, but you will need to walk up and down steep hills to get to Torquay.

The cracking of movement above due to the old wooden floor boards. The décor was a bit dated and the beds could be more modern and more comfortable.

Shower was over the bath and lacked pressure and heat at busy times.

Excellent location with lovely views. Great for walking if you can cope with the steep climb from town. Would recommend.

We have stayed here before, breakfast choices have been scaled down a bit, but plenty of what was on offer. We had been visiting family and arrived back at the hotel at 11.15pm after a long drive. We wanted a nightcap to take up to our room but even though the bar manager was there he would not serve us as he was cashing up, I did not need to pay as my credit card was linked to my room, but the answer was still no ? I thought as we were staying there this was a bit off.

Room 142 Beautiful updated bathroom, lovely sea views, the bedroom was a little bit tired, could do with some TLC, lovely and big though. Lots of different places to sit downstairs with different views for my parents who are in their 80s and 90s.

The jewellery, bags and other items for sale were cash only. This would not have been an issue if there was a cash machine available.

The food and the stone massage particularly stand out.

Location and views. Staff were great and we had a fantastic time in the bar area. Charlize who works behind the bar was fantastic. She really made our stay extra special. We feel Charlize is a real assets to the hotel, a big thank you to her from us 😊

The room was very tired, dusty and there was rubbish on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. Also it was extra to use the spa facilities.

The property is situated in a great location, we a wonderful view. There’s parking and an EV charger which was extremely helpful. The buffet breakfast was great value and very tasty.

The only thing I will say is if you have any issues with mobility, be prepared to take taxis as its a steep walk from Torquay center.

For the price we paid, we had an excellent stay, staff at breakfast were so nice and the breakfast it's self was a very tasty spread! Spa was amazing. At first we thought £10 per session,per person, was a bit much but it turned out to be worth every penny. stunning views.

The views across the ocean to Brixham are fabulous from the hotel which is located on a cliff top next to the coast path.

Water pressure was terrible, like a drizzle. Water was temped in shower. Pretty unpleasant. Loud children playing the piano at 2230 for quite a while. Hard pillows.

Beautiful view. Pretty location near cliff trails. Free parking. Great price. Had kettle and tea/coffee.
