WiFi wasn't great -upstairs router didn't work and downstairs one was patchy All four pillows were really fat. Would have been nice to have a skinnier one as I sleep on my tummy The restaurant was closed on Tuesday when I stayed but no-one told me when I booked and one of the reasons I chose it was the great reviews for food!

The hotel is lovely not really anything I didn’t like just a few blips. No parking only road space luckily found a space but there is a public car park just off the High Street just a short walk away a pleasant walk if you walk through The Green. No available table for dining as I hadn’t booked a table, luckily found a hotel a short walk away. Bedroom by the road did not disturb my sleep but could be an issue for some.

Ideal location in a beautiful location of Llandaff lovely walks and a stunning cathedral. Room excellent, an amazing bed and bath luxurious bedding and towels. Fresh milk and coffee machine and tea. Water in rooms. Excellent breakfast in Heathcock bakery a short walk away.

The meal in the restaurant was poor , we sat at 6 pm and one of the first to order but only got one meal right had to make do with a snack and a main . Lots of apologies and no bill for the table which is as much as the team could do and it’s appreciated but it still meant one of us had not much of a meal

Great room with good amenities, USB points ,mini fridge, tea and coffee. Beautifully decorated and surprisingly quiet from the bar noise . A little noise from the garden which might be more in summer

Residents’ hotel access was in need of refurb; and it was tricky getting in out of hours. No ‘front of house’; it all was done through the pub.

The only very slight downside was that they had put hand wash in the shower, would be good to have actual shower gel.

The room and bathroom were lovely and the bed was really comfy. Everything else was great, the manager was really friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the lovely high street. We will definitely be back. High standard of room.

Beautiful spacious room. Really high spec finish. Natalie and her team were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Although there is no cap park on street parking nearby is free and it was easy to find a parking space

Fantastic staff and pub looked great, very busy and full booked so obviously popular. Good wine bar vibe. Loved the boutique look and bath was awesome! Bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in some time.

The windows were original sash windows, which did let in some noise from the beer garden below (we stayed in the bigger room at the back), not a problem for us as the pub below was quite, but I can imagine in summer at the weekends it could be noisy. The windows could do with being replaced with double glazing, but not sure if the building is listed.

The room felt like home, this is the only hotel where I've felt so comfortable. I love the decoration of the room, the William Morris curtains and print. The bathroom was gorgeous too, the luxury of having a bath and a shower!

The bathroom needs accessorised a little with some nice features such as green plants and pictures on the wall but it looks like it was a recent upgrade. The sink was also a bit high for me. Unfortunately during our stay the kitchen was shut so we didn't get to taste the food which I hear is very nice, but there were a lot of nice places to eat nearby.

We loved the room, it was a good size and decorated beautfully, and had a nespresso machine too. The bathroom was also huge and had a lovely bath and shower. The room was also very quiet and bed was comfortable. The pub is located in a nice area and Llandaff cathedral is worth a visit.
