Admittedly we stayed over Easter Bank Holiday weekend and there was a stag party staying. They (understandably) took over the bar, so it was very noisy. In both our rooms, (so I presume all the rooms), the TV is on a unit right in front of the mirror. Would be much better if the TV’s were elsewhere on a wall bracket as you can’t see in the mirror. The bathroom mirror is good, but it’s high above the sink and you need to be nearly 6 feet tall to see yourself in it! The car park is small and no allocated spaces specifically for people staying in the hotel and no dedicated disabled bays. Anyone coming in to use the bar can use the car park and we got blocked in and had to change our plans as we couldn’t find the car owner who had blocked us. There is a council car park next to the hotel, but you can pay for up to 4 hours, or 24 hours - nothing in between - even with a blue badge. It’s £9.80 for 24 hours. The hotel food is okay. You’re given a time slot for breakfast, but even though we stick to our time, others didn’t, so there seems little point. Easter Monday, the ‘help yourself’ section on the breakfast buffet was shocking. Nothing had been restocked and there were no cups for hot drinks; no coffee, no milk and no bread. We had to ask twice for these to be topped up and when they brought out more bread, it was still frozen. We booked knowing the hotel wasn’t 5*, but that is very basic.

Location is good with amazing views. The hotel staff are quite young, but they are a good team and were very friendly. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are large.

Food prices although were reasonable could be very slightly cheaper

Room was great size bathroom clean room clean tea making facilities replaced every day and room tidied each day great views from room bar prices for food and drink reasonable we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future

I was upgraded to a fabulous large room with sea view. Staff are super friendly and the hotel is very good value for money. Will definitely return.

I could hear people outside my window constantly walking past, I also could hear everything from the room above mine.

The range of breakfast choices was lovely. And my room had a sea view which was lovely

The rooms were Loverly and spacious but we had the two under the conservatory and lots of banging and cleaning at 1am ish

Beware of parties with very loud techno music taking place in the bar below. They stop at 11 but won't allow you tò watch TV or even read. Avoid if you are not a fan of the genre.

Squeaky flooring, from my room I could hear people walking also talking so not really enough sound proof no other worries though

Location perfect, good sized room with both a double and single bed large picture window with at a push a sea view, nice welcome on arrival from reception and assistance with my luggage breakfast selection OK but no continental

The Heritage Hotel met all our needs and expectations

Hair dryer in room did not work, dusty extrator fan in bathroom. Had to Auto tune my tv.

Nothing to stop a return visit , would probably ask not to be in room 1 as the music in the bar reverberated in the room ! Perhaps swap the sofa bed to the window as it was a lot more comfy than the leatherette couch to sit and look at the view Otherwise would recommend !

Great location , easy walk from the station. Excellent breakfast options , recommend the cooked and the pancakes eaten with a giant set of cutlery 🤣 Staff very helpful and friendly , has a pub attached so was able to sit outside and have a pint Had a room upgrade with Booking . Com so had sky in the room and loads of room

The heating was not very good in my room. Fortunately in addition to the quilt on the bed, I found a blanket in the wardrobe. Apart from the cooked breakfast, I had to take everything (food, drink but also cutlery and crockery) to my table.

The hotel is very conveniently situated, just a short walk from the beach. The room was large and the breakfast area had a great view over the seafront.

This hotel was located in the perfect location and is value for money. The staff were all friendly and the room was spotless and very clean.

Room upgrade was nice however it was under a corridor which meant you heard nearly every footstep as a thud. Also the room was next to the swimming pool pumps/filters so there was a constant hum (made more annoying as I didn't have ear-plugs with me).

Friendly & helpful staff. Upon viewing my allocated room I was greeted by a cold room with a poorly fitting,window making it cold. The room itself wasn't particularly inspiring with tired carpets and decoration. I requested the chance to view another room which was met with a positive "can-do" attitude. The second room was far nicer, warm, spacious and pleasantly decorated. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious bathroom. Various options for a good breakfast.

We'd been out for the day(all day) on our first day, abd one of our party fancied a nightcap, but was refused entry at around 10.30 although there were others at the bar. Some if whom were not residents, I didn't want or require a drink myself.

Location, ease of checking in, warm friendly staff, breakfast nice and plentiful.
