The Hidden Nook is a nice cosy and pleasant cottage to stay in. It had everything needed for our stay and is in good location. Great communication with the host. We would stay again in the future.

Could of done with a heads up on the parking. You can park along the street. But it's £9 a day. There was a parking permit in the cottage but we didn't know.

Everything was good and it’s not meant as a criticism but if I was the owner I would get a bigger tv and bigger bed to really give it the wow factor, and they would be able to charge a bit more

A great clean modern place at the heart of Whitby. Good communication from Mary the landlady who told us the best place to park for free. West Cliff Car Park free between October and April. Brilliant sized bathroom and lovely shower. And even though it's in the centre it's still relatively quiet when going to sleep. Would recommend and definitely use again.

A little problem was a gap in the handrail going down the stairs.Im a little unsteady on my feet and I didn't notice this the first time going downstairs.

The apartment was spotless and in a great location.Everything we needed was there and a cot and high chair was also supplied which we requested.

Property was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for us. Communication with the host was excellent and very friendly. This will be our go-to choice for booking next time we are lucky enough to be staying in Whitby.

The only thing that let this property down was the parking. Although the property offer a permit to park for £10 (for the whole stay) which is great, the car park was a little too far out for us as we were travelling with 2 toddlers. This meant we had to make the 10 minute walk with suitcases, prams, bed guards and toddlers. However during our stay we did find out that there is a car park on silver street just 2 minutes from the hidden nook. It is pricey but it's worth the money if you have little ones, or even if it's for an hour to unpack/ pack the car.

The property is lovely, it's modern but still has a really cosy feel to it. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children with a well equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge area. We found the local information in the lounge draw very useful as it was our first visit to Whitby. I couldn't fault the property itself. It's in a great location, right in the Center of the town. The shops are bars are just around the corner, and even on busy nights we didn't hear any noise. Whitby is a lovely place to visit, and the North Yorkshire railway is only a 20 minute drive away which was a great day out with the children.
