    Liked all aspects of it.

Hideaway Cottage has been renovated and restored to an exceptional standard. It is very comfortable and the decor and quality of finish was really impressive. The garden area is lovely and our hosts, Jane and Maria, could not be faulted.

The only thing was there was no oven (just a microwave and a hob) and the fridge is very tiny, but as long as you know this before your stay it is fine.

Really lovely venue, in a great area. The owners were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The house and garden are beautiful and all of the information left was really helpful. I hope to stay again in the future!

I stayed in winter, so the floors in the living area got a little chilly later at night. I recommend bringing your slippers! I found the entrance to the property wasn't lit at night, so have your phone's flashlight on hand for the laneway. Really not complaints, just helpful suggestions for future guests!

Beautifully restored building, full of character and charm. Quiet, comfortable and cozy retreat with everything you could need. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. They even left a welcome package with milk, cheese, butter, crackers and a couple of G&Ts in the fridge. Lovely touch! Great location, close to all amenities. Bus stops to Bristol and Nailsea/Clevedon/Weston just steps away. Would definitely stay again.

Cold nights when we stayed and draughty under front door so a draught excluder would be handy. Also gorgeous bathroom but shower screen isn’t wide enough so floor gets wet.

The accommodation is lovely. Homely and immaculate. Beautifully decorated. Ideally situated for local amenities, travel into Bristol and 10 minutes from airport. 2 minutes from bus stop. A few good local shops and nice quiet area.

Cottage was beautiful and well finished maybe the fridge could have been a bit bigger.

Lovely quiet location with easy bus route into Bristol, some nice walks especially Ashton Park with wild deer and close to Clifton which is very Victorian. The cottage was beautiful decor and finish of fitting first rate. Lovey garden to sit in and nice touches like gnt in fridge on arrival

    Can’t fault it. Loved it!

It’s absolutely beautiful, the owners have spent a lot of time creating this place & it shows. Lovely salvaged architectural features (the windows & the door (from an old Welsh Chapel)), attention to detail and I loved the stained glass. Wish I could have stayed longer to check out Long Ashton properly as was staying for a tattoo booking nearby so didn’t get the chance! The hosts even provided some g&t’s!

We couldn't fault it. All good

A lovely location, handy for Bristol and Somerset. The Hideaway is clearly a labour of love, well presented, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The hosts has prepared welcoming drinks and snacks, and provided for guests essential requirements. The Hideaway is set behind secure walls, with a lovely garden. We couldn't fault it at all. Communication from the hosts was also excellent, and unobtrusive. Local amenities are good too.

Good location, parking nearby, bus service to Bristol, excellent coffee shop, pubs, fish&chip shop and Co-op supermarket. On request hosts provided a cafetiere for us as well as unexpected little treats. No oven, but microwave and 2 hotplates were sufficient for our 2 night stay.
