There was a wasp nest right next to the door so had to make a quick dash when coming in and out as there was a few flying round the door.

Loved the fact it was in such a peaceful place, the bed was amazing and slept like a baby! The hot tub was beautiful however we couldn’t get the temperature right so we didn’t get to use it for too long.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

I loved the fact it was set aside and quite secluded in the area, the sheep in the field as well. The hot tub was nice and relaxing as well. The fact it was 10 minutes from seahouses was definitely a plus as well

Great get away from daily life. Secluded and fantastic hot tub. The recommended taxi and the nearby Pack Horse were a perfect combination for dinner.

Although we managed to enjoy the hot tub, it took quite a bit of time to regulate the temperature enough so we could actually get in. We paid the extra money to have it pre-lit but I don't think this was necessary as it was too hot and we had to wait 2-3hrs before we could get in. In hindsight it probably would have been better to fire it up when we arrived and got in before it got too hot.

The property is set in a nice location, although by a road it was very quiet and it was nice to sit out at the front of the property and take in the surroundings. The property itself was very clean and tidy, with all amenities you'd need. Bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep!

The property was as described, amazing! Perfect little cabin for a couple days away to relax and unwind in utter peace. The property was immaculate and had everything you need. I would recommend paying the extra to have the hot tub heated ahead of your arrival (we did not and it took 3 hours!) We had an amazing meal out at the local The Pack Horse Inn and would recommend that too anyone staying!

Fantastic little cottage in the countryside. Hot tub was an excellent idea. Also the decor inside was really nice and we appreciated the skylight! Woke up to a blue sky.

No proper instructions for the hot.tub as for gaughing temperature, as we nearly boiled ourselves and made human soup 🤔😅

The only slight niggle I'd say is the lack of signs of the CCTV cameras in operation above the front door. Which aren't an issue if you knew they were there, just be mindful of them when your walking back from the hot tub.

I loved, that from arriving to leaving you were completely left alone. You collect the keys from a lock box and then leave them there when you leave.

We didn't find the bed as comfortable as other reviews said, but that could just be us, and wouldn't put us off booking again. Likewise, we didn't get the hosts to heat the hot tub for us which was probably a mistake, as being out and about everyday didn't give us enough time to heat the tub ourselves. We know for next time!

The location was excellent, quiet and tranquil, but still within easy reach of the local villages, such as Seahouses for shops and food. Also not far to drive to Alnwick. A fantastic base to explore the area, with excellent amenities, and very clean. It was everything we could have wished for.
