Nothing really was all very good ... but We discussed the lack of plugs with Chris ... but no real hassle we just unplugged the kettle and TV to charge our phones

The bathroom was all very modern. Room was clean and welcoming. The food at the pub was of a very high standard and reasonably priced. Can recommend the cooked breakfasts if they are on. The cocktail menu was also good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Dog wasn't keen on the Fire escape to go out when pub was shut, but we managed Ok.

Only stayed 1 night but enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room clean and comfortable. Had a nice breakfast in the morning, and the checkout time of 11am is much better than 10 am. Feels more relaxing, not having to rush to get sorted and away. All in all, very good.

My room was at the end of a corridor near a fire escape door which had an outside metal staircase. People were using it frequently late at night and early morning and woke me up.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were very good.

Handy for the M6. The room was big, clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and nice. No additional charge for bringing a dog, which was nice.

The only negative (and it’s small) is that with the windows open, you can hear the traffic going by. We were on the side by the road so it’s understandable, but it was generally only a problem if there were large vehicles going past (tractors/lorries etc)

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We arrived quite late on the Thursday night and the guy that welcomed us was polite and helpful when showing us to our room. The bedroom was lovely and big, it was clean and well kept with plenty of space. The breakfast we had our last day (they only serve breakfast over the weekend) was lovely and good value for money.

Size of bed !! Didn’t sleep at all second night even though bed was comfortable but just not wide enough . Used to 6’ wide at home so not hotels fault

No breakfast apart from instant porridge, ‘ tho explanation given. Being in taxi and train ( for funeral in nearby crematorium) and also in countryside unable to access place for food.

Out of pub hours entry/exit was down a fire escape at the side of the building; not an issue for us but definitely not disabled-friendly

Stayed here previously about 6 months ago. This stay was just as good as the previous. If you’re staying here make sure you eat here too- the quality of food is excellent.
