Bar had a great atmosphere, great choice of drinks, staff very friendly, meal on the night was amazing , loved our room and to end the stay with a delicious breakfast

There was a stain inside the toilet bowl when we arrived. One of the bathroom taps was lose so you couldn’t turn it on. There is no window in the bathroom I could hear whoever was below us

The food and service was incredible. The bed enormous and very comfy The bath was like a swimming pool!

A church bell sounding every half hour during the early morning hours. I'd recommend to take ear plugs during the night. I was kept awake in the early hours. This is by no means the fault of the hotel though.

Safe didn’t work ( they tried to fix once, then gave up) Couldn’t open windows more than a few inches Smell of foist in walk in shower Light at top of stairs didn’t work - really needs to as pitch black Iron was broken, poured water out on to clothes - was replaced promptly

We didn't like anything, we LOVED everything. Literally everything, the staff, the food, the facilities all outstanding. We booked our night stay for our wedding anniversary and it was just perfect. We had a little plate in our room with some brownies and happy anniversary written on the plate, such a lovely touch. The room was beautiful, the bed the comfiest we have stayed in and the bath, the bath just a dream. Our TV even swiveled just enough for us to watch a movie while having a soak, a real pamper. The food is delicious. I am a fussy eater and my husband is much the same. He will eat almost anything but very rarely enjoys anything but he absolutely devoured his meal and can't wait to go back. The service was brilliant too, we were given a beautiful table in the restaurant and served both for dinner and breakfast by a very friendly and warm member of staff. We can't wait to go back. Absolutely value for money, if your thinking of going you will not be disappointed we have already started saving for our next stay.

The only downfall for us was the loud noise of someone from another room running their bath on slow for 40 minutes at 4:30 in the morning which sounded like a very loud boiler!! We couldn’t get back to sleep after this so we were tired after this. We also weren’t made aware that the sauna can take up to 40 minutes to heat up and is on a timer.

The room and facilities were absolutely gorgeous and we were really impressed!

The signal for the TV was poor but that is the only thing that was poor, everything else was fab
