We were told on arrival there was a DJ in the pub until 12:30am. Ear plugs are provided in all fairness but this should be warned prior to booking.

Lovely room and en suite, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit.

Breakfast very disappointing bland over cooked and not very appetising. Not as good as when we last stayed (a couple of years ago)

This is the 6th time I've stayed at the Kings head in the last 5 years , the staff and location are great, The only slight issue are the rooms are looking a little tied and require some TLC. on my first visit i stayed in Egbert, at that time the nets curtains on the window was ripped and 1 draw missing on the dressing table. On this occasion 5 years later the net curtain is still ripped, 3 draws have now been removed possible broken and there is no lamp shade on the ceiling just a bulb. Nothing major but a little maintenance would go a long way, i didn't bring this up with the staff at the time due to my workload and time available

The location is spot on, there is a good selection of rooms and suites, the staff are friendly and helpful. Having stayed in both rooms and suites i do enjoy the place, i have also stayed in 3 other locations within Beverley centre in the past but the Kings is my preferred stop.

We particularly appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. We had a clean comfortable room with good food and lovely staff. A perfect stopover.

Food seemed a little over priced, especially desserts. I order a strawberry and prosecco ice cream bar and got 1 strawberry' sliced and a glorified magnum ice lolly on stick. Bar at night was really loud as disco in bar area, but loud in rooms, although we were supplied with ear plugs. Certainly popular with slightly younger people. Restaurant was quieter.

Room was nice and bigger than expected as title said cosy double room.

Music a bit loud for us. We booked the family suite which was beautiful, but the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The bed however was fantastic (according to my sister !).

Lovely bedding, good shower, nicely decorated. The staff were great.

The rooms are located above a pub. While usually they are quite and well insulated, on the night of our stay there was a DJ until midnight that made it a bit noisier than expected.

Nice, clean room, with everything we needed. The nesspresso machine for a morning coffee was much appreciatted. The bathroom had an ample shower and the bed was very comfortable. This place is perfectly located in the centre of the town. Room perfectly insulated from cold and noise.

I didn't like the fact that the pumps at the bar where out of a lot off different beers. Possibly they had a busy Saturday night. The heat in the room was overwhelming when we first went in, but we managed to turn the radiator off in the end.

The Location is fantastic. The room was very nice and clean.

Room is looking a little tatty. I am a decorator so it did stand out. Just needs a fresh lick of paint.

Breakfast was good, cost £39 extra for two breakfasts and 4 drinks.

The one thing I’d say is the towel rails get very hot to the point of burning skin when accidentally touched

It was a previous drinking haunt when I was a teenager, visited it to have memories. The hotel bar has changed for the better. The rooms are lovely. It was clean and spacious, decent bathroom and shower. Staff were great. Breakfast we had was lovely and plenty of it.

Friendly and efficient staff, good room with excellent shower facilities, lovely food, free parking in hotel car park, central location great for Saturday market and wandering through Beverley. Quickly fixed heating problem and explained what had been the issue
