Internet and mobile service connection was unfortunately quite poor, but to be expected of a rural property.

No real complaints as lots if extras in room but a hair dryer would have been handy in the room.

Friendly ,helpful staff. Food nice. Very clean & comfortable. Liked balcony but sadly too wet to use. Good parking facilities.

Too many pillows on the bed, didn't know where to put them all!

Friendliness of staff and able to accommodate a number of dogs for a very reasonable charge per dog. Also able to eat an evening meal at the bar.

They had decorated the place lovely for Christmas. Quiet and cosy.

The size of the shower room was smaller than we are used to but contained everything we needed.

Breakfast was good. There was plenty of choice. Friendly service. Dinner had a good range of choice. The 'Senior' option was very good value.

The pillows were very very hard , and the sound on the TV was so tinny we could not listen to it, but this would not put us off staying again.

Unfortunately the kitchen was closed and there were no nearby facilities for food. The landlady kindly made us a sandwich which was gratefully recieved

Wardrobe needed updating. On very busy main road, but was given information for dog walk through woods. Breakfast not included, when I asked I was given a preorder sheet and was told breakfast was £10 extra. I only wanted a hot drink, toast or cereal, no explanation of price for this. Would have preferred ground floor room to make it easier to take dog out for regular walks.

Room had everything I needed, lovely old family run pub. food good though little expensive. Allowed dogs in bar area. Nice tea tray supplied.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding .Following a long drive over from Luton airport the staff couldn't have been more helpful and kept the kitchen open so we could all have a meal together with other family members arriving earlier .All meals were good including breakfast where you had a choice of cereals and cooked breakfast if you wished which was cooked as ordered . Location is on the main road but not affected by noise. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. There is a garage not far from Kings head and has a spar shop should you need anything The kindness shown by all of you was appreciated especially day after wedding allowing for hangovers from a few !! Massive THANKYOU from all of us .

Difficult to control the shower temp Room was very hot but to be fair the outside weather was extreme we did have the window open but the noise from the generator was quite noisy

The WiFi was a problem but it was probably a good thing to get us away from phones etc.

We had a lovely room, pretty small but comfortable, clean and cosy. The bedding and towels were very clean and bed was made every day and fresh towels left, along with more refreshments and biscuits. The restaurant downstairs was warm and friendly and the meals were hearty and delicious, especially the homemade steak pie. We loved the beautiful views from the restaurant and the music was relaxing, not too loud, so we had a few relaxing meals in there.
