The location suited our needs, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast chef was a star, he was funny and communicated well with us , making it a good start to the day, nothing was to much trouble for him.

I was booked to stay 2 nights but my flight was cancelled preventing me from arriving until the second day I was disappointed that there was no attempt to understand or make a refund and I was still charged for 2 nights even though I notified the manager as soon as I could.

Cell phone coverage is a bit patchy but okay from the beer garden and carpark... of course beyond managers control! WiFi works fine.

This Inn is the complete package. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, the menu has enough variety without being too long, food quality is super (one of the best roast pork dinners ever!), good beers on tap, lovely quiet village location and a beer garden full of comfortable furniture with views over countryside. Not to mention the staff who are all friendly and work hard to make sure your visit is as good as possible.

Our room was clean but the following morning, whilst the room had been cleaned and bed changed, the coffee and bath amenities hadn't been refilled. But the pub staff quickly provided refills for the next morning's coffee etc.

Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Nice menu and great service in this unpretentious in the local pub with a lovely setting, large comfortable garden. We've stayed here before and would do so again.

Needed a bedside table on both sides of the bed. The bed was a double and a bit small for us. The room could easily take a queen or even a king. If starting again, we might sleep better by choosing a room with twin beds.

The location was really good, parking was convenient and the accommodation was super clean. Whiteparish is on the edge of the New Forest but there are lovely walks nearby.

A great inn with accommodation at the rear in a building, The room was a reasonable size with an en-suite bathroom that contained a shower. The room had sloping ceilings so we had to be careful not to bang our head in some parts, but this wasn't a major issue. The room had large windows that could be opened fully and let a breeze in as it was very hot when we stayed. There was a fan in the room but this wasn't in great condition and make a loud noise when operated so we couldn't use it. The room was on the first floor with other guests directly beneath and unfortunately their cigarette smoke was prone to enter if the windows were open, though I guess we were just a little unlucky in this respect. The inn is 'dog friendly', which I guess suits those who want to travel with their pets, but be prepared for dogs barking at unwelcome hours! The breakfast was great, being freshly cooked to order, though the chef was a little forgetful in delivering all of the items items we ordered. We ate at the inn one evening and the food was 'reasonable'. My partner ordered hake, which was good but my Thai chicken curry was made with meat that was more akin to tofu in texture and it was pretty bland.

This was our second stay here. It’s a lovely little inn, and the staff is lovely and accommodating. Comfy beds, good shower, great wifi and wonderful included breakfast. You should also try the restaurant for dinner. Really nice.

On the ground floor, only ventilation is the patio door, no separate window, it was a hot weekend, I wasn’t happy to leave the door open all night and the provided fan just circulated hot air
