The only problem for us was the emergency lighting on the ceiling in the bedroom, it was a bit too bright when your trying to sleep. Did manage to sleep though.

Very friendly staff and comfortable room with a comfortable bed. It was a bonus having the family pub right next door to the accommodation. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. It was in an ideal location for us.

Our room was looking a bit on the shabby side, and although the shower was good the tiles were falling off the wall!

The staff were excellent and the breakfast was good.

decoration and fittings a bit tired in parts eg carpet in hall. Breakfast was very basic could have had more and fresh croissants/bread and more varieties of tea eg mint earl grey. Booking.com didn't say full breakfast was extra. It was quite difficult to find late at night in the middle of the housing estate post code kept sending me in circles

Lovely old building. Room was comfortable and warm. Towels and bedding good. All staff were very helpful especially when I locked myself out of my room!!!

They had a menu in the room for the Langley Arms Tavern but when going to order dinner was advised that they no longer served food and hadn't for years. Yet they still had a menu on the wall inside the Tavern. This should have been advised when we arrived at 3pm, as we didn't find this put toll 7.30pm and then has to seek dinner elsewhere. The windows in the rooms need repairing properly. They have broken panes that have been temporarily fixed with tape that is so old it has perished over time.

Liked the location with good parking and selection of shops a short drive away. The accomodation is separate to the bar so very quiet. It has bags of character. My room was a good size

The fact it doesn’t tell you breakfast is continental which it is basically cereal or toast so have to pay £7 for breakfast.

The staff were amazing and very accommodating.

A quiet B&B on the outskirts of Bristol at a good price. Just what I needed from my business trip (and better to support a local business rather than simply taking the easy path of a chain hotel).

Need to be warned about emergency lighting in the ceiling - fortunately I sleep with an eye mask but could be infuriating for someone else. Shower room very basic and leaking hose. didn't like the local eateries - enormous and very noisy. If I'd been at the Langley Arms during the week, I would have eaten there.

I really liked the room. It was old and characterful, comfy bed and quiet.
