The room we had didn't have a great view of the garden instead we just had the roof. And the room was very hot, no air con, the windows was opened but made no difference had to block my mind from thinking about the heat. Imagine on a hot day that room would be unbearable. The bed were twin beds but using them apart meant that getting to the bathroom was a squeeze and you couldn't open the fridge wide.

The hotel is situated in a lovely country lane with a beautiful garden and facade. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty but could of done with an extra sausage and hash brown only got one.

The Bedding really let this down It appeared to have a kingsize quilt fitted inside a double quilt cover, so a large portion of the quilt was hanging out of the bottom of the cover, the pillows were also lumpy. The throw across the bottom of the bed was not clean had visible dirty stained patches, which was very off putting so took off the bed on day one.

Room was large and very modern with lovely fitted wardrobes a large wall mounted tv and a large desk/dressing table area. A fridge was also fitted inside one of the cupboards. A kettle in the room with plenty of tea and coffee etc was also great. The bathroom was large and spacious and had an excellent shower. Decor in communal areas really lovely. Staff were all very friendly and the food we ate here was a very good standard.

Those tiny milk cups which are in all hotels are absolutely pointless, you need so many and there are never enough. Are any bigger ones available? We heard the manager telling staff off a couple of times - that shouldn't happen, especially on the occasion we'd asked her about the history of the place.

Breakfast was good and hot, plenty of choice. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location and parking was great. Restaurant was adequate, food was fine though choice fairly limited. Comfy beds, good shower.

As we were visiting the NEC (Crufts) it would have been very nice to have an early breakfast on the weekend. The parking facilities at the NEC are huge and so are the distances to the buildings. This means that we want to be early.

The limes country lodge hotel is a very friendly place to stay. The room was nice, bathroom clean. Tea and coffee making facilities good, little fridge very practical. The staff was excellent. We could not expect more.

They appeared to be understaffed throughout our stay although the staff were very good. Our room was very warm despite not having the heating on at all and I was very dissatisfied with a grotty looking bottle of handwash in the shower room. Needless to say that we didn't use it.

Good location, easy to find, good access to the NEC and other similar establishments, nice grounds to the hotel, good parking.

Restaurant closed early on Sunday so we wasn’t able to have dinner on arrival we had to travel 25 mins down the road. Also after seeing my the person I was with was 6’5ft we was still given a small room where he ducked half way there When checking out the receptionist said ‘ The size of you and you’ve been given the smallest room’ which means the obvious was obvious Apart from this very lovely place , staff are lovely. Location is lovely and we would stay here again.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel

The breakfast was disappointing. It was advertised as starting at 8am when booking but it actually starts at 8:30am at the weekend. There was quite a wait after ordering and when it did arrive, the quality was not very good.

Very nice hotel and in quiet location. The room was comfortable and not too hot (like many hotel rooms are), it was easy to open the window for some ventilation. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything that was required.

Not much to put down - there were no blinds for the velux windows so in the summer months this could be an issue. There was a remote control on the wall for air conditioning but wasn't one in the room..lol

The staff were all friendly & we managed to get an earlier breakfast. The room was lovely & beautiful surroundings re the grounds of the hotel. Restaurant did lovely food & no long delays

Bathroom was a wet room which was not suitable . Would have preferred a walk in shower with glass . Sink was low and small for us both .

Bedroom was a twin room which we requested . Breakfast was full English and was excellent.

Was given a disabled room so sink was too low to use, no enclosed shower so whole bathroom floor was wet for quite awhile after. Room was very basic, no safe and no phone so when the tv wasn’t working probably had to go to reception which meant getting wet from the rain to get there. Worst of all got woken several times from fire door banging every time someone went through it. Full English breakfast was quite small with cheap sausages. Hash brown missing on the 2nd day but no staff around to ask for some.

    The room was clean
