There was quite a bit of black mould around the French doors and on the net curtain across them. It was also BOILING hot and the French door latch wouldn’t stay open to cool the room down.

Lovely big room, nicely decorated. pub was nice with a good pub garden. Bed was very comfy.

    N/A. Just perfect !

Beautiful period inn with lovely features. Room was in an annexe, modern clean and cosy with nice shower room. Staff and the chef were very welcoming, helpful and made our stay relaxing and friendly. Had a lovely evening meal cooked beautifully and a wonderful breakfast with fresh local produce. Can’t thank the staff enough for a perfect short break stay. Thanks !

Only one tiny thing. Because the only window in the room is a door-on ground floor. If we wanted to get changed we had to pull the curtain and put on the light.

Beautiful room. Loved the way it was furnished/decorated. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Could not fault it

It's in the middle of nowhere and you need a car Breakfast doesn't start until 8:00, even 7:30 would be better re getting to work.

Really nice room and lovely pub. Staff were really friendly and helpful Nice to see it full of nice locals too. Breakfast was very nice

The bed was hard and lumpy. The rooms weren’t in the original building, but in an addition in the back. The rooms downstairs were an unusual design with one entire wall being glass.

The pub was convenient and had a good selection. The neighbors cat was really sweet and invited himself into our room. The shower was wonderful. Lovely quiet area but near major roads.

The only negative was my husband ordered the ‘King Prawn’ Paella. This dish is advertised on the menu with mussels, scallops, chorizo and lemon as well of course King Prawns being the main attraction. Unfortunately there was 2 small prawns some mussels with a couple of scallops in the dish with rather a lot of calamari rings with other strong fish which we didn’t know what it was as it wasn’t listed and therefore over powered the dish. My husband ate half of it as didn’t want to spoil our anniversary meal, my mushroom risotto on the other hand was lovely.

Upon arrival we were made to feel really welcome, settled in the bar for a few drinks and nibbles before going to our spacious room.

    Clean and tidy.

Good location, spacious room and comfortable bed. Restaurant was superb. Had dinner and breakfast (paid with the room booking). They missed our starters from the order (which we didn’t really mind) and when staff realised this themselves, they were apologetic and offered free desserts (which we didn’t expect). Overall great menu selection. Breakfast was a la carte and very tasty.

The key was not labelled with the room number which made us very confused initially because we couldn't lock the door and thought we were given the wrong set of keys.

Love the modern and clean room including the bathroom. We had a very comfortable stay. Recommended if you're going shopping at Bicester Village which is about 8 min away by car.
