My only complaint is that I thought breakfast was included which I would have expected at the price I paid for one night as it was quite expensive.

The lodge was very clean, comfortable bed and good quality bedding. It was great to have milk in the fridge for our tea, coffee and a little basket of nibbles. I had booked a table at the Farm Shop for our breakfast but unfortunately there wasn't one available when we went there so we offered to take it to the lodge but the staff very kindly offered to deliver it and we didn't have long to wait which was excellent.

Loved everything!

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous. Very comfortable and relaxing. Everything we needed. The stars at night from the bed were so beautiful. Would absolutely use again when travelling.. thanks so much for all the little touches. The warm bathroom floor was really nice!

It was like a home from home. Great having the kitchen facilities as we were travelling with an infant. Beds were extremely comfortable. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. Everything we needed was in the property.

Great location for our needs, easy on-site parking and modern little apartment with view of the castle and gardens. Lovely having the farm restaurant there at hand for delicious breakfast and lunch :)

The traffic noise, but maybe I noticed it so much, because where I live is very quiet.

WARM, exceptionally well equipped with all the practical things to make life easy. Fab , comfy bed. loved the decor. The use of copper piping: so cool.

Car park is right outside the lodge which is great but on the second day it was completely full so we were unclear on where to park our car.

The grounds of the Lodges are lovely and our lodge (Ramsay) had a fantastic view of the castle. It felt magical. The bed was comfy and the kitchen and overall facilities were well stocked and thought through. The farm shop and cafe is EXCELLENT and if you're staying here you must visit it. We had breakfast there both mornings, the berry smoothies are lovely.

Maybe the fact that the upstairs floor creaked so if you are a light sleeper you might get woken up by movement upstairs.

A lovely cottage, very well looked after and clean. Everything we needed was available.

Right beside a very busy road with very fast moving traffic. Can be noisy at nights.

This was a great place to stay when we were in the area for a wedding. Very comfortable, nice decor and great to have a table and chairs out on the terrace. The berries in the fridge were a nice touch as well. Check in was very easy using a lock box. And make sure you get some ice cream from the farm shop….it was delicious!

Was there for only one night which was a shame!

Beautiful lodges in a fantastic setting, the view out the back to the castle from our patio terrace was stunning. The bathroom/shower in particular were fantastic - great water pressure and the shampoos/body wash provided smelled lovely. The strawberries and cream which were there on our arrival too was a lovely touch. We were allowed to put our luggage in one of the barns whilst we enjoyed the rest of our afternoon after checkout which was very handy.

A superb lodge for a short stay, overlooking beautiful outdoor gardens and terrace as well as the rolling Aberdeenshire countryside. Has all the facilities you need to self-cater, but you can also enjoy food, including the famous Barra berries, from the nearby farm shop. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast from there, kindly delivered to our lodge by the very nice staff.

The flat is near the road and so the place isn’t the best choice for people who want to be far from noise. And it would have been more personal had a person received us - instead it was all done somewhat coldly by email.

Very pleasant: comfortable, well decorated, fresh. A gift of strawberries in the room was a nice touch.
