Towels were quite small. The location within the town is great, but there are few taxi companies operating nearby and it was difficult (actually impossible) to find one to take us to our workplace in the morning, despite trying to book the previous day. Obviously, not the fault of the owners, but I mention it for others, to plan!

A short walk to Waitrose for food; nice! The restaurant downstairs was not open in the morning, but there was a perfectly nice coffee machine and capsules provided in the kitchen. The flat was clean and spacious. Only one bathroom/toilet, but it was clean and fine.

Hadn’t realised the Loft was above a busy bar when we booked. The noise unfortunately prevented a good night’s sleep.

Beds were super comfy! Spacious and well equipped.

Nothing to fault. Older or infirm people might find the 2 sets of stairs a challenge.

The owner contacted me by phone and offered to meet me in person or leave the keys in a lock if I wanted to be flexible. I chose the latter and it worked fine.

The master bed was a bit hard and being a Saturday night, it was very noisy. There was a dinner party just below our bedroom and two bars/restaurants with music and people chatting till late.

Apartment was nice and it had everything we needed. We couldn't figure out the heating and though it took a while, someone tried till it worked! Though we never met the host, she was available and responded within a couple of hours.

Great comfy sofa in the kitchen, but no TV, so had to watch TV sat on 2 small occasional chairs in the bedroom, or sit on bed

Fab property, very comfy bed, powerful shower. Good location, bus stop right outside for bus to Bristol, short walk to the marina, and choice of shops nearby

Very spacious apartment. Quiet and comfortable. I had a lovely bath after a long journey which was very welcome. Right on the bus route from Bristol made it super convenient for carrying bags.

There was nothing we disliked. Unfortunately we forgot to pick up milk so couldn't have a cuppa when we woke up, but that was our own fault!

This lovely loft apartment is an absolute gem. We loved the decor and how comfortable and cosy it was, the Loft was very well equiped for our stay. Portishead was a lovely little town to visit too.

Some minor water staining evidenced to walls within flat which would benefit from making good, albeit its an older building so only considered minor issue and did not detract from a great stay. I would book again.

Nothing although if you are very tall you may need to watch your head on low beams here and there. Also the apartment is up two flights of stairs so if your mobility is poor it might not be a great choice.

Nothing! It was superb!

The beds were incredibly comfortable with soft pillows and warm but light down duvets. The hot water was plentiful and we had a delicious dinner downstairs in the Spanish tapas restaurant. We then went for a walk around the marina in the morning. We loved the location.

Cosy apartment, well equipped and convenient location. I was travelling on business and it was a welcome change from staying in “faceless” hotels. Jill, who greeted me couldn’t have been more friendly and responsive to any questions.

The welcome pack of teas and coffees etc did not appear to be replenished and we feel we ended up with the previous renters left overs. It does boast free parking however until it is booked the free parking is actually in a public carpark about 500 metres from the property through some shops as we are disabled this was a problem for carrying bags etc.

The loft is a lovely accomodation with everything you need. Very clean and spacious. We were using the loft as a stop over to continue to st I'ves the next day so cannot say about location or surroundings. We were going to be very late coming in but that was not a problem I had spoken to the owner who was more than happy to accommodate and help.
