Nothing, the hosts have thought of everything. Refurbished accommodation has definitely paid off. Possibly Decaff coffee sachets next time? Not a deal breaker though......

Warm greeting by one of the hosts, excellent chance to ask any questions. No breakfast offered with this accommodation as the ground floor is a bar, 1st floor a restaurant but plenty of eating places very close by. Not an issue.

Lots of small things, In the room: bathroom vanity light (no lamp) & shave socket weren't working; the bathroom mirror was low for anybody over 1.5m: the sealant around the shower pan was unbelievably amateurish if not actually ineffective: one of the complimentary coffee sachets had already been used: at times, the cold water supply seemed to run almost as hot as the hot water supply and had to be run for a minute before it ran cold (unusual as its usually the other way around) & heating controls seemed mis-set as the radiators were very hot in the middle of the night but cold by 8.30am. usual excess of cushions & pillows on the bed, the cost of which would have been better spent on a better bed frame or mattress, the combination is very bouncy & almost had me falling out on my first night the lack of food provision is an obvious omission (an Indian restaurant on the ground floor does not fit) & disappointing that the bar was not open on either night of my stay, though not surprising for Monday & Tuesday night in early season

Very good location & great to see the property being used as its original purpose of an Inn. Great to have both a room fridge & a safe. Free parking immediately to the rear of the property but I fear Durham County Council may soon remove this asset. It would be great if a concession could be negotiated for residents. Certainly much better than the last time we stayed (under previous ownership/management).

Our host could not have been more friendly and helpful. A warm and comfortable, tastefully decorated room with tea and coffee making facility. The property has a great wine bar, selling quality wines as well as beers and spirits and great food.

Beautiful, spacious and well kept room a stones throw away from the beach. Staff were friendly and the location is perfect. We have been to Seaham many times but the first time staying here - we will definitely stay again!

Only problem I had was the outside of the air vent in the bathroom banged on and off all night. It was a very windy night to be fair but even with the bathroom door shut it banged so loud it kept me awake.

the only thing I didn’t like was the room was on the top floor, so a lot of stairs… but that didn’t put me off because the room was so comfortable.

Very comfortable room with good facilities… even a fridge. the room had a sea view which was a bonus. the accommodation is very close to lots of great places to eat… and also the beaches.
