Personal preference really, the pillows were very hard, and the green emergency lighting over the bed was a nuisance.

The location was perfect, close to the beach, with shops and bus stops close by.

Better standard of cleaning

Lovely room every thing was freshly decorated so looks good. The mattress was like being on a waterbed. Unfortunately didn't get a good night's sleep as when either one of us moved it was so wobbly . The room was dusty. Found hair grip's on the floor obviously hadn't been hovered and the shower needs a good clean on the lower tile's and sink plug was filthy. Attention to detail with the cleaning and this would have been a to notch rating.

My adult daughter would have appreciated some sort of curtain for privacy in the second bed. Bath tub could have been cleaner, lots of hair in plughole. Under second bed, needs a clean as it was dusty.

The location was brilliant, and the rooms decor was lovely. The fridge was appreciated. And the fan was needed as it was so hot. Room was clean.

non slip shower mat! Parking for my Motorcycle was on a public car park! Not ideal in this day and age. Never saw any staff!

£75 for just bed with no breakfast was overpriced! The shower tray was exceptionally slippy!

The extractor fan from the restaurant below could be heard from my room which was immediately above it, it did turn off at reasonable time though and I am a very noise sensitive person, so someone else may not have found it a bother at all.

Lovely room, very comfortable, excellent location. I needed to call for a VAT receipt and the person I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Great welcome pack giving info on what's in the local area. I really liked self check in and it was all very easy.

Only suggestion could be the addition of a mirror in the room, or a dressing table with mirror. Unfortunately the room next to us was REALLY noisy around midnight - we politely asked them to be quiet and was given verbal abuse by them. I contacted owner but he was off site - I understand this was out of his control.

Location was really good for amenities. Check in was easy via a keysafe, details were sent to me by email prior to collecting keys. Room was very clean and spacious.

The room is on the 2nd floor if you have heavy luggage. The bright light on the outside of the building was hard to block out even with the blinds and curtains in the room. An eyemask may be useful for light sleepers

The location was ideal to explore Seaham harbour and beach. The blue room was at the front facing the Ocean which allowed views from the room.

Not a problem for us, but stairs may be a problem for some.

Superb location for beach access and close to other towns / cities. Will definitely return for more seaglass hunting! Will look forward to sampling the new bar next time. Free parking in car parks in Seaham is a big bonus.

Although this isn’t a fault of the premises themselves, the noise at night outside can be quite distracting, given this we were so exhausted from exploring Seaham it did not keep us awake.

Excellently decorated room, very helpful owners, prime location, smelled wonderful (contradictory of other reviews) free parking at rear of property.

The only slight negative was that I would have liked the availability of replenishing the coffee tea and milk but this is a very minor point

The location was excellent.Ease of booking and accessing the accommodation was also excellent. Room was spotless and bed was really comfortable. I have to say having access to Netflix was fab Buses stop right outside - exceptionally handy. Indian restaurant on ground floor fab food , very reasonably priced - I ordered - went to my room to change - came down - had a pint of draught - returned to my room with food and bottled beer to enjoy Netflix

The stairs, I didn’t realise that the apartment was on the top floor when booking, I had my 5 yr old and 2 yr old grandchildren with me, there was no lift, although staff were very helpful on our arrival, I found it hard at 65 with suit case etc, not being able to leave kids alone, leaving was difficult
