The room was a bit tatty, bathroom was pretty worn out with cracked tiles & mouldy silicone.

Outside & reception/lounge areas really nice, staff friendly too.

Lovely hotel. Spacious family room, with mini kitchen in the lounge area. Beds were rather uncomfortable and the shower room was a bit small and awkward, but the room was otherwise fab. Nice breakfast, very good quality food, but only allowed to select one option from the menu (plus hot and cold drinks), no separate buffet area for cereal etc. Enjoyed a very nice evening meal in the hotel restaurant, too. Very pleasant, helpful staff.

The room wasn't as advertised. Should have had a kitchen which is why I booked it as have small child whose milk bottles needed heating. Also toilet seat hanging off, toilet roll holder broken. No sheets for sofa bed. Room felt forgotten about

Rooms could do with being revamped. They are nice but they could be a lot better.

Love the entrance, the overall look of the hotel inside and out. Rooms are very large and spacious.

The Hotel is 90% there, it just needs some finishing off, who owns the Hotel needs to spend time, 1 hour in every room and look at the walls - there are small marks every where, the room doors need touching up there are paint chips on all of them, the bathroom - grout is missing and never been applied, mastic needs repairing, again marks on walls, tile on shower has drill holes where shower has been moved and not been plugged, shower curtain creased where fitted new without ironing, Table in lounge has marks on it, part of laminate flooring missing. in the reception and hall ways there are paint spots on the floor.

The Hotel Team - Excellent friendly and professional, The Grounds, The building is beautiful and great Location. restaurant food are all very good.

Could be so much better if just a few small things were put right Like getting a cold breeze in the dining room every time the front door is opened. A proper double wardrobe in our massive room would have been nice. No lift to get to the 3rd floor!

Lovely hotel in a good location. With a good car park. Kitchen was excellent with good food efficiently prepared.staff were very friendly and the bar was rather good.

Tiny attention to detail on finishes but only minor point.

Lovely old building and grounds. Large apartment room with spacious living room, separate kitchen and bedroom. Even had a washing machine. The grounds were lovely and nice and quiet to get a good nights rest.

The room I had was not finished to a good standard. The shower was either too hot or too cold. Brocken tiles on the floor. Bath dated. Bath was better due the separate taps. There were blinds in the bathroom but they were not reachable - bathed in the dark as I was not comfortable. The tap in the kitchen was not secure. Not enough coffee. The aerial into the TV was faulty - after wiggling it around it worked. The windows rattle in the wind. Not a fan of the very long corridor, seems odd.. No Electric Car charging.

I don’t think there’s anything that I didn’t like. I would say though it would be really helpful to know in advance which rooms have a shower cubicle and which have an over-the-bath shower. This is particularly important for people with mobility issues or disability access issues. I think more rooms with showers, rather than baths, would be a good move.

The breakfast was great and the staff, very friendly. The room was clean and very good value for money. I arrived late, and the night Porter was extremely friendly and very helpful. This was the same man, I believe, who was so helpful over the phone too, when I rang in advance.

I didn’t like that I got an email regarding the Adele night so I booked my room 10 minutes later & when I went to book Adele tickets there was none I emailed to see if I could possibly get some but no one replied. I wouldn’t have booked if it wasn’t for the email promoting the Adele night.

Room was lovely the Bar staff & waiting staff very nice.
